I met him back when King Diamond was doing the THEM tour. I managed to convince the crew to let me work as a roadie. I helped set the kit up and the rest of the stage. I had a blast. They even let me see the show for free! I met Mikkey Dee as well and hung out with him backstage (Pics to prove it too) and the whole band including the KING were very friendly. No attitudes and what not. Just happy to be appreciated. Dee is one of my influences as a drummer :) Rock on!
Saw MOTORHEAD at local bar, 1st Ave, Minneapolis, remembering this long blonde hair drummers solo, completly shaking the walls, one of my top R&R experiences. Thanks to tube so I could see this again!!!!!!!!!!!
I just saw em' in Kingston the other night and it was WILD. At the end of it he started juggling the sticks while playing. My eyes were glued. Exceptional.
Theres loads of drummers out there with big kits but only play half and same with double bass but mikkey uses the lot. He's an underrated legend up there with the best.
Underrated? He is probably one of the most regarded and respected drummers in Europe, especially in Germany. I cannot speak for the U.S., cause i´ve never been there. But in Europe he´s a living legend.

I saw Motorhead & Saxon in Manchester, I'm a fan of saxon myself but i was dissapointed with them, but Motorhead were AMAZING!!! And it was was the 3rd time i've seen them!! The best yet!

Got to drink beers and talk to him for about an hour after the Motorhead show and he's the fuckin' coolest, most down to earth guy. Very humble with no ego whatsoever. IMO, Mikkey Dee would wipe his ass with Joey Jordison.

I saw him do a drum solo when I saw Motorhead back in November. The epicness of it all completely blew me away, it was amazing.
