This list is merely my opinion. There are many games out there,and we all have our personal preferences. This is mine.
In order to make this list,the games must follow two simple rules...
1#They must be fully playable on your average MAME cabinet,and must not require any special controls or extra equipment.
2#They must closely resemble the arcade game style as much as possible,therefore RPG's (Chrono Trigger,Final Fantasy,etc.) and some Action Adventure games with higher RPG aspects (Zelda,Actraiser,etc.) do not qualify.

it’s not a ranking list - it’s games I would include.
Also, for your information:
when people make a list of their personal choices they’re not wrong in what games/movies/songs/etc they choose or the order they appear on *their* list.

How do you configure games that need the D-pad controls and the analog sticks on a cabinet? I want to play God Of War II on my cab but can't figure out how to set these analog controls.
What version of Mame is this? As far as i know, Tekken 5 can't run on Mame. In trying to run Tekken 5 on Mame. No luck..
So I tested out God of War, and Devil May Cry, and sadly the R3 is needed for specific things. God of War is used for dodging, and for Devil May Cry needs it to switch weapons.
Decent list but I wouldn't include some of these like the shmups/retro collections since I know I could probably get better versions of those via MAME or the via emulation of the original console the retro titles were on.
Yeah most of them but not all. I went through each one individually and a few of them are exclusive to PS2.
Didn't you know there are also sega ages games from the website sega retro? Tetris, Fantasy Zone, ecc. There are some that got compilations and are remastered!
What spec is your computer running for this.

+Fraser Kinloch thanks...in my cabinet I run an i3 w/16gb ram,win7,and a 1050ti...nothing special,but,it seems to run everything great. I do run into some stutter with dolphin (wii), so eventually I would like to do some upgrades.

Why you could put even Sega Ages 2500 Series Vol. 28: Tetris Collection and Tetris Worlds. These two games are so fantastic for the MAME cabinet.

Well.. I don't know man, it looks like the list is made according to YOUR taste and not the sales figures nor the Metacritic reviews. But enjoyed the video nonetheless.
It is made according to my taste....I said it in the description...there are a ton of top lists already on YT based off sales figures and reviews.

grantsin33 Read the video description. Also,any 1 game that you can put on your arcade machine,that keeps you from having to install an entire different emulator and menu system,atari 2600 in this case, is a top 50 game imo.
