As a Stonie collector I know it from the first blink that the "Military"Green jacket is the fake one. The badge gave it totally away IMO.

Great video! 3 things to add.
1)any art no. ending in 222 is fake. For some reason that's the favorite no. to use on fakes
2) The info tag on the inside of the fake is missing the SI logo on top. Some of the really old stuff may not have it (I'm not 100% sure) but anything remotely recent will have that logo.
3) Stone island also uses LAMPO zippers on some of their items.
5:30 indeed "usually". I got a Sage Green Shirt and Black Soft Shell Primaloft Jacket and they both have white stitches in the label.

I'm new to the channel today and boy I'm so glad that I come across it, I'm a massive stone island fan and I think that you pointed out some very good tell tale signs, and the fact that the seller said they had ever colour, as soon as you said that my thought straight away was 1 if real he must have robbed the factory to be able to have all the stock and 2 if was real there is no way anyone would be stupid enough to sell for way under considering that they sell for over sometimes.

Also putting Farfetch labels on garms as they don’t except returns am sure
I've got a coat and have verified it through certilogo but the one thing I noticed on it is that it has the YKK logo on the zip but it doesn't have the other words. It only says YKK but it did come back as authentic via certilogo

Fucking hell that fake was the closest 1 to a real I've ever seen even had the X buttons. I don't even think the Art number on the fake tag matched the number in the jacket.
Yo hox, I've previously seen the art no. Scam on eBay quite frequently and realised that most of them have the same art number which ends in 222 no matter what piece it is ; membrana, raso gammato etc. So watch out for the art number in the future . Stay safe

I have a 2012 soft shell, bought it in Berlin and it doesn’t have the barcode. I googled the art number and double checked by browsed the lookbook and it’s there, only my jacket is gray and the one in the lookbook is black. What do you guys think of that?

Why does everyone fail to notice the line of thread between the compass and button holes on the badge on the fakes. Another way that everyone forgets is that if both the labels inside say the art no. its fake.

I always check the zip and the badge buttons on ebay, fakers seem to struggle to get the right buttons and won't pay for a quality zip. Legit sellers usually show you plenty of good quality photos of all the little details as well. In real life it's easy, the quality just isn't there when it's a fake, they may be expensive, but you can't deny that they are well made clothes. I've even seen fakes with the badge on the wrong sleeve. As a long time Osti fan I won't deny I've been scammed in the past, but not for a good few years now. As with most things, if it's too good a deal to be true then you should really have your 'Spidey Senses' tingling and think long and hard before pressing that buy button. There's that many fakes and kids into SI these days, it's definitely lost a lot of its exclusivity. Plus, when everyone knows you've got a grand's worth of coat on, it makes you more of a target these days. In the past you only had to watch out for the people you knew you had to be wary of anyway. A mate was once jumped from behind by 3 scrotes in a car park was left unconcious and lost his SI jacket, that made me think twice about when and where to wear SI. Thanks for the video, I hate to see people getting ripped off and you're definitely providing a valuable service for people buying unseen online.
