I had never thought about inking over gilding flakes! All I have done with gilded cardstock is to put die cuts over it. Now I have another technique in my arsenal. Thank you!
Hi Christine. What a great idea. I love how you just go for it and discover what happens. It’s such good fun and makes your videos so interesting. Thank you. - Dawn 🌅
Brava Chris - no one else is so adept at changing horses mid-stream! I love the way you make it up as you go along and always come up with something surprising and wonderful. 🟨
This was really interesting! It looks like resin. I loved the first one. I’m going to try this, my attempt with the wax that came with my stamp, nearly set fire to my workshop, glue is safer :) Thank you for sharing this with us!
That was interesting. The little blue square was just the thing. I found my MIA glue gun when I rearranged my craft storage in the laundry room two weeks ago. I could only find my glue sticks for the longest time. There were a couple of items I found that had been missing for quite a while. Of course, they were basically where they were supposed to be, just farther back. Silly really.
Hi. If you don't have any StazOn ink then maybe try something freehand with alcohol markers instead, it might work out. Also, if you wanted a square shape to the glue/wax you'd perhaps need something similarly sized to contain the spread a little. A die wiped with some hand cleanser might work if you don't have any of the wax shapers that some sets come with, although you've probably already tried that sort of thing out so don't mind me rambling on.😂 I think that first one looked lovely anyway and it would be a shame to waste such a sweet little thing. Thank you for sharing this idea and video, it's been very enjoyable. Have a super day.😊
I have Stazon Deb, I just didn’t think to use it as I haven’t used any for quite some time. You know i do these things on the wing and the next time round would probably be a little different! 😁😁😁
@@Chrissieannie Happy you're back. Also loved that you had a bit of a problem with this and you didn't give up, but were willing to let your first experiment go. I always try to find a fix and then make an even more hideous mess. Now I know it is fine to have do-overs to get it the close to way I want it to be.
Bonsoir christiñe . Je viens regarder la vidéo et je me pose 2 questions 1) sur les golden flack ne doit on pas utiliser la stazon ? 2) quelle est la différence entre la cire transparente et la colle fondue ? . Si tu as le temps de me répondre merci 😉
I love the first one just as much as the second. And I appreciate that you allow us to join in on the adventures of your curiosity! 💖
I'm so glad!😊😊😊
Hi Christine thank you for another fun video I have seen the finished cards and they are very pretty.
Thank you so much!🥰🥰🥰
I really like the way you use all your scraps x
Sometimes I just can’t bring myself to throw them out!🤣🤣🤣
Certainly enjoy your play with various materials. Guess you never know until you try. Great fun, I think! TFS. From Cheryl in AZ
Win some, lose some. I think that the wax seal was a little big for my purposes but I wanted to try it!😁😁😁
Thanks for sharing your thoughts and process as you experimented with the hot glue. Happy Crafting x
Thanks so much! 😊

Stamping with Stazon would be more successful!!!

Thanks Dawn you are so kind! 😊😊😊
Loved your experiment and results, Christine! great idea :D
Thanks so much! 😊
Great idea, you might want to try using more glue to give a more substantial shape and ridge around the square xx
Yes! Thank you!

Thank you so much!😊😊😊 very kind ♥️
Hope you enjoyed your time away. I love that you are brave enough to test out ideas with no safety net, so to speak. Definitely different. x
Thanks so much😊😊😊
When we produce something we don’t like, we should just say it’s organic 😊

So often I can’t find things I KNOW i have somewhere!!
Great idea, I like it and I am sure you will figure out the best way to use the flat stamps.
I think this one is a little too big for most of what I do but I'll work something out!

J'aurais dû utiliser Stazon, sur les éclats de dorure, je n'ai jamais vu de cire claire c'est pourquoi j'ai utilisé la colle chaude !
