- BMW's are often accused of being expensive motorcycles to own. Well if you manage not to bin it that needn't be the case. BMW Service plans are available for 3 or 5 year increments on new and used bikes at. Prices are generally good giving you fully known costs in advance..

5Yr warranty - ok, but that's not a service plan. Coming up for my 1000km service on Monday (30/10/23) but I still have to either pay for it outright, or buy a service plan - 3 or 5 year.
It’s good but the mileage is not great I would do more miles than the service schedule allows
Well you would hit the mileage service intervals instead of the yearly intervals, it is one or the other. If you paid for each of those three services individually it would still come out dearer. I think they charge around €750 for the valve services here.
Enjoyed your video on your GS 1250 Trophy and your video on fixed BMW servicing - never knew that bmw offered fixed cost servicing. Are you considering selling your Trophy ?

If there is an extended warranty for BMW motorcycles in the USA it is not to be found in the USA website, just the standard 3 year warranty. I will ask a dealer, maybe?
Dealer the best place I reckon. I cannot believe it doesn't exist, they must make money out of it.
I got my gsa rallye in sept 22 new with the temp fitted halogen h light. It came with a voucher for led fitting wjen available or £500 to spend on bm acessories i opted to have led fitted but it took 9 months and as a good will gesture bmw uk sent me a £500 voucher which at 6k servuce u used the voucher agianst the service inclusive which i added £290 so my gsa is good till 4 years or 24k

Hmm, I would have to have a decent test ride first. I like the ride height feature for my little legs.
You made me look it is not on the Joe Dufy Motorrad website in Ireland..
It used to be up on www.bmw-motorrad.ie/ but I did say it had been taken down. When I purchased my GS in Nov 2022 it was also listed and priced as part of the Irish configurator, both the 3 and 5 year plans. It has been taken down but ask Joe Duffy about a plan, I have one.
I ll ask if I get a new one next year :)
Hi Terence! I have been following your channel for a while and I bought Tiger 1200 XCA after watching your channel. I am getting a good deal on a new 2023 BMW GSA. Is it worth upgrading to GSA? How much better is a GSA as compared to a 2019 Tiger XCA?

The GS & GSA are fine bikes with an excellent low centre of gravity making them great to ride. But I personally find the high speed suspension damping on my low chassis GS quite poor versus the Tiger 1200 which had superb WP suspension and 9 levels of damping control available in every rider mode. You are very limited in what you can do on the BMW, it’s kind of take it or leave it. Test ride first 😊.
Are these offers valid only in the country you bought them in or are they valid the world over?
I suspect so as the pricing is all over the place. However that warranty extension I mentioned would be Europe wide.
