As a mechanic, I like tuning myself using a data logger with a wideband O2. I've used Woolich products since his inception. Tuned my H2 to two land speed records.... Your videos are awesome. Keep up the great work, I'm a big fan 👍😊
Data logging or track time is king for sure. Unless you know the exact effect of the ram air on the air fuel ratio, a Dyno is just a guess. Of course Moore is very experienced, so I'd trust his guess over most others.
This just verifies my seat of pants that my 2018 GSXR 1000R absolutely pulls harder down low and mid and my 2021 ZX10R absolutely pulls harder up top. GREAT video Chris!
ZX10 wins the hp wars, but usable power, both hp and tq, throughout the powerband, will always make for a faster and more powerful run...bar, of course, wheelie time and/or wheel spin. Great comparison video!

Had the stock headers and eBay ko slip on. Recently put on hindle megaphone full system and it felt so much more potent. No more lazy moments in midrange. It wanted to go. I love how ready it feels now in terms of take off.

personally I think that VVT from suzuki help a lot with that powerband curves, because with more power in low RPM you get faster to the high RPM high power rage, I just wish it was a crossplane like their motogp bike
My first two bike's were Kawasaki followed by two Suzuki's. The Kawasaki engines ran smoother and tighter. The Suzuki's sound like there are stones in the engine case but the snap of the line is undeniable.

Does the stock tune restrict power at upper rpms due to 300km speed limit, emissions or combination of both? Really enjoy your videos showing the gains with modifications as no one keeps their bikes stock anymore.
Not to many tuners have the setup to do that at the moment I can simulate up to 110mph ram air some of the superflow dynos can do a little more but they are calibrated different so the numbers don’t match

Did you mention everything was done to the Gsxr meaning completely with additional things? That means to me Velocity stacks and everything else that's possible. The ZX 10 only had pipes and flash. Were their anything else added to the ZX 10?
Chris, what gear do you most often use to tune the bikes with on the dyno and, is this in conjunction with what I hear as the closest 1:1 ratio? Do different bikes have certain gears that produce better results, like Kawasaki 4th Gear, Suzuki 5th gear and Yamaha 6th Gear or do you use the same gear for all bikes to be consistent? I watched as you tuned CKs bike a few months ago and that was an excellent video.

I have a Suzuki Bandit 1250 with full exhaust (BlackWidow header & Holeshot midpipe with their 14” Comp 2 muffler), K&N filter with air filter lid cut open, Holeshot (Dobeck) SuperTuner and the secondary throttle blades removed. Dyno ~ 130 hp at 8,000 - 8,500 rpms before power falls off. I then removed the secondary throttle “rod” even though the blades were already removed. Do you believe the “rod” removal makes any difference? Throttle response seems better although it can be wishful thinking.

About witch bikes anyones prefer, it’s really in the taste of yourself, some will change brands every year and are gonna like all of themes, so are focusing on the power, other on handling, and so ...... , but it’s really how you, yourself feel on this bike, it’s like helmets, some are more comfortable in a Shoei , others on a Arai, it’s all how your head is shaped, because obviously we’re all different, I for myself always wears Arai RX7, And in 2015 I’ve tried for the first time the AGV pista,,,,,, 😳 ho my GOD, I thought it was like wearing loafers 😍, and I’ve been riding since 1986, so I have kinda experience a lots, but I’ve always been faithful to Kawasaki, had almost every ninjas ever made multiple ZX-7 , multiple ZX-9, and ZX- 11, 12 R, and ZX-14 R, and honestly their all very good , what’s funny is everybody wants more power, but in reality 98% of the peoples won’t ever see or feel the full potential of a stock bikes, everybody’s thinks they are the best , but the main thing is that your having fun, and on one of this it’s garanteed . I read MR12 has a octane of 87?? Here in Australia, we have 91, E10-93 ethanol-mixed blend, 95, and 98 readily available. E85 is also available, however, not many service/gas stations have it.
I went back and forth pondering on a 2020 zx10r krt or the 2020 gsxr 1000r. I chose the zx so this is not really what I wanted to see. I will be hitting you up on a tune on pump gas anyways. Good info.

What was the difference in mid range between the two zx10r with pump gas. My bro and I did our bikes same dyno he has mid and slipon I have full. Mine had 10 more horse thru the entire mid.
I have a 1st gen ZX10r. Ive sent you the ECU to flash. On the stock header there is a 02 sensor. Do you shut that down with the flash? Do I need to remove the bung and add a block off bolt? Im just asking.

It's the way they make the power that counts..The GSXR makes the power early on and that's what gets it off the line the quickest and keeps it there..

When you flashed the ECU...did you lift throttle restriction too on it and set the rev limiter to about 13,200 or bit higher in the rpm's...?

At 20:42 you mention GSXR revs higher but power declines. You can +500 rpm (change rev limit) to the ZX10 and maybe get your 200HP with Woolich.
The zx10r has weak valve springs. You don't want to just keep revving them. 😆
How weak are they... Plenty of guys are running them with their shift point at 14,800
