As a mechanic, I like tuning myself using a data logger with a wideband O2. I've used Woolich products since his inception. Tuned my H2 to two land speed records.... Your videos are awesome. Keep up the great work, I'm a big fan 👍😊

Data logging or track time is king for sure. Unless you know the exact effect of the ram air on the air fuel ratio, a Dyno is just a guess. Of course Moore is very experienced, so I'd trust his guess over most others.

This just verifies my seat of pants that my 2018 GSXR 1000R absolutely pulls harder down low and mid and my 2021 ZX10R absolutely pulls harder up top.

ZX10 wins the hp wars, but usable power, both hp and tq, throughout the powerband, will always make for a faster and more powerful run...bar, of course, wheelie time and/or wheel spin. Great comparison video!
BTW Thank you so much for the answer regarding the wheel speed sensors, i had my dealer reset the ecu and removed the Engine light on my Triple R SP. You're doing great things for this community. Once again Thank you!

personally I think that VVT from suzuki help a lot with that powerband curves, because with more power in low RPM you get faster to the high RPM high power rage, I just wish it was a crossplane like their motogp bike

Went back to watch this again as I got rid of my Gen4 for a busa..drag race only bike.. because I'm a heavy hitter. I'm thinking now of going back to a GSXR 1000 for a street/strip bike. Great info bud. And by the way.. I think you were in the right in Orlando.

@@christopheralonge7758 If you're doing pulls to 180, just go down a tooth in the front and leave the back at 39, see how you like that, if you want more mph, go to a 37 rear, if you want even more accel, go up to a 41 rear.
My 2015 did basically the same, K&N filter, cat delete, yosh mid pipe and slip on and WR flash. 191hp.

My first two bike's were Kawasaki followed by two Suzuki's. The Kawasaki engines ran smoother and tighter. The Suzuki's sound like there are stones in the engine case but the snap of the line is undeniable.

I’d love to see all the bikes on a dyno graph. S1k. R1. Etc. Who had the best power curve with bolt ons.
Id have to say the zx10 the S1k or Ducati V4 series would be the best. Those 3 bikes are monsters.
I’ve had mine tuned by you for just shy of a year and it’s been great but I’d love to bring it down and dyno it and get it 100% dialed in

110mph is about 2hp before the year is over we should be able to test 160mph air speed

Quick question.. is it ok for the bike to run a bit lean when it cold starts until it's a bit warmer? btw That blue line looks mighty meaty.. All the new bikes are so restricted! The ZX10 gains the most, but the all pick up good power from flashing the ECU.
Does the stock tune restrict power at upper rpms due to 300km speed limit, emissions or combination of both? Really enjoy your videos showing the gains with modifications as no one keeps their bikes stock anymore.
It's the way they make the power that counts..The GSXR makes the power early on and that's what gets it off the line the quickest and keeps it there..

Can you please change the dyno display tach to show past 11k rpms? I kept trying to watch that but it’s displaying too low to see the actual revs on these bikes. Must be in Harley mode lol

Sorry just watched this video I love it. The GSXR is obviously better the dyno graphs prove it!! I want a GSXR 1000 It would be awesome if you dyno’d my bike and over lapped it with a stock GSXR 1000 I have a SV1000s and it has a lot of torque and it feels really fast

Would love to see numbers with the ram-air functioning.
Not to many tuners have the setup to do that at the moment I can simulate up to 110mph ram air some of the superflow dynos can do a little more but they are calibrated different so the numbers don’t match
What gains would you estimate?
I've heard gains of 6-7hp
sean ross that would be close 200mph is 29” of water or 1 psi and 110mph is 7” of water and = about 2hp
@@blackwidowpowersports6037 ram air starts working after 60mph where the pressure starts to build. I'm just wanting to see some dyno runs with functioning air to speed.

Did you mention everything was done to the Gsxr meaning completely with additional things? That means to me Velocity stacks and everything else that's possible. The ZX 10 only had pipes and flash. Were their anything else added to the ZX 10?
These grudge guys arent going to tell you everything they race for money.So no mater he says he will not tell you everything done to the bike.
I read MR12 has a octane of 87?? Here in Australia, we have 91, E10-93 ethanol-mixed blend, 95, and 98 readily available.
E85 is also available, however, not many service/gas stations have it.

About witch bikes anyones prefer, it’s really in the taste of yourself, some will change brands every year and are gonna like all of themes, so are focusing on the power, other on handling, and so ...... , but it’s really how you, yourself feel on this bike, it’s like helmets, some are more comfortable in a Shoei , others on a Arai, it’s all how your head is shaped, because obviously we’re all different, I for myself always wears Arai RX7,
And in 2015 I’ve tried for the first time the AGV pista,,,,,, 😳 ho my GOD, I thought it was like wearing loafers 😍, and I’ve been riding since 1986, so I have kinda experience a lots, but I’ve always been faithful to Kawasaki, had almost every ninjas ever made multiple ZX-7 , multiple ZX-9, and ZX- 11, 12 R, and ZX-14 R, and honestly their all very good , what’s funny is everybody wants more power, but in reality 98% of the peoples won’t ever see or feel the full potential of a stock bikes, everybody’s thinks they are the best , but the main thing is that your having fun, and on one of this it’s garanteed .
Ps : big respect for you Chris Moore for getting on-board with the M modes equals MR-12, if everybody’s keep the same way to set it this way, no one will ever mistake it, I’ve seen Brock’s did that the first, and it’s a very good thing, to see you follow his lead, 👍

Chris, what gear do you most often use to tune the bikes with on the dyno and, is this in conjunction with what I hear as the closest 1:1 ratio? Do different bikes have certain gears that produce better results, like Kawasaki 4th Gear, Suzuki 5th gear and Yamaha 6th Gear or do you use the same gear for all bikes to be consistent? I watched as you tuned CKs bike a few months ago and that was an excellent video.

I have a Suzuki Bandit 1250 with full exhaust (BlackWidow header & Holeshot midpipe with their 14” Comp 2 muffler), K&N filter with air filter lid cut open, Holeshot (Dobeck) SuperTuner and the secondary throttle blades removed. Dyno ~ 130 hp at 8,000 - 8,500 rpms before power falls off. I then removed the secondary throttle “rod” even though the blades were already removed. Do you believe the “rod” removal makes any difference? Throttle response seems better although it can be wishful thinking.

IHMO, when the bikes are that close in specs, the better driver will win, down to that first 60 ft., who can launch the cleanest. Plus, 140 lb rider vs 200 lb rider changes all those #'s.

How does the tune take the ram air effect into account? I know these bikes claim to make more power at speed.
So, basically on the 10r, you just need mid pipe, slip on, filter, stage 2 tune and mr12 an dyou are at 200 hp. No need for all the other shit. At least it seems that way since the 1st Zx10r had way less mods and it basically laid down the same numbers.
What was the difference in mid range between the two zx10r with pump gas. My bro and I did our bikes same dyno he has mid and slipon I have full. Mine had 10 more horse thru the entire mid.

At 20:42 you mention GSXR revs higher but power declines. You can +500 rpm (change rev limit) to the ZX10 and maybe get your 200HP with Woolich.
The zx10r has weak valve springs. You don't want to just keep revving them. 😆
How weak are they... Plenty of guys are running them with their shift point at 14,800

I went back and forth pondering on a 2020 zx10r krt or the 2020 gsxr 1000r. I chose the zx so this is not really what I wanted to see. I will be hitting you up on a tune on pump gas anyways. Good info.

When you flashed the ECU...did you lift throttle restriction too on it and set the rev limiter to about 13,200 or bit higher in the rpm's...?

Hopefully you answer some quick questions, I just bought a 2019 zx10rr and was told that the ecu factory handles 91-112 on the fly. Curious if you've done any dynos all stock on a zx10rr switching gas all the way up all stock no tune
U showed 2019 grey zx10r with werkes exhaust and sprint filter puts 203 hp why this is low
I think its because of different conditions
He didn't mention ceramic bearings etc it makes a difference

I would like to see the gsxr on e85 and the zx10 but I think you can more power in the tune on that slip on unless it was built on a Monday
