This fight took me about 2 hours 😂 I cut out a lot cuz Isshin had me on mute. Never had a boss do that to me lmao, but anyways what an amazing game. Thank you to everyone who stuck with me throughout this series 🙏🏾 We will be playing Bloodborne next. Vid should be out within a day or two.
Bloodbourne is prob the 2nd best elden ring being the 1st and then Ds3 then Ds1 then Ds2 for me Ds3 is the only 1 that has some difficult bosses in the dark souls series but nothing to crazy Ds1 bosses are a joke im sure back when it came out ppl thought it was hard but now most ppl are use to fighting hard shit so it's easy.
So the black mortal blade is mentioned on some hidden note or something earlier on in the game, and it is said to hold the power to bring people from the dead (Hence why genichiro was able to resurrect isshin). As for why Isshin actually fights you even though he was actually on your side, theres 2 possibilities. Either the mortal blade binded Isshin to Genichiro's wish, or Isshin himself wanted to honor his Grandchild's final wish
It’s a really simple answer. Genichiro, his grandsons DYING wish was to see Ashina return from the grave so he sacrificed his LIFE to bring him back in his prime. So naturally, Isshin HAD to honor it. A lot went into that transaction so he really had no choice because of the circumstances. Hence why he says “pitiful grandchild” in disdain because he knew even such a wish was foolish in the grand scheme but for the sake of his sacrifice he honored his grandsons wishes. It had nothing to do with being bonded to Genichiros soul it was a conscious choice based off the principles and code of honor Isshin had in life.
Btw he has two patterns when he sheathes his sword. If you are too close to him, he attacks and does his sweep. If you are far enough, he is gonna do the ashina cross attack. But I'd say that the closer attack is way easier to react to. Just deflect first attack and jump over the sweep and vault on him.
We're finally here! Cant wait to see you not hesitating! I sat for 2.5 hours and refused to leave my seat back when i played this. Every time i lost i couldn't help thinking "One more time! ". It's also cool how Genichiro went from strong to a joke by the end of the game. Edit: Just finished. I FELT that victory at the end! Hell yeah!
This is by far my favorite boss fight in all of gaming, it took me so long to beat him for the first time. But now on max ng+ i can no hit him. (i might have missed it, but how many times did you die to him?) You should look *another crabs treasure*, its another souls-like but it has a very light hearted cartoonish take on it.
Fr his second phase was just a bit tricky to adapt to but in the end I just got greedy, and I think I know that every souls player knows that the “greedy never get”
I'd say isshin has a more predictable moveset. One set of attacks usually lead into patterns of two more sets and then it resets everytime. But yeah I have killed him so many times in gauntlets that I can practically no hit him, even if the patterns of his movesets were switched lol.
@@ImCelest No other boss had me thinking of my existence as promised consort radahn😭😭😭😭. One triple slash, and ten minutes of perfect gameplay gone. The first time I killed him, I had to be perfect, used the buckler with misericode and light roll. Otherwise idk how I would have defeated him lol.
Funny how things are different for all of us. Malenia and Radhan both took over four days and well over a hundred tries to beat, while Isshin was done in eight attempts and roughly half an hour
@@ImCelest fr tho. for those you actually played the game without spoilers, that was just a big fk u to the face. Doesn't beat the first hand experience of guardian ape tho
Malenia took me 4-5 hours to beat(in total, not one sitting) because I just couldn't learn her phase 2 and I ended up using a summon for that phase which of course was the round I beat her😡. Isshin took me 8 tries in 2 hours of the morning so idk man... But then I did get good at sekiro, something i'll never be in elden ring lol
@@ImCelest I generally had it easier with what the community considers "hardest bosses", cause basically all of them took under 10 tries, 3 of them I did in one go and one of those bosses I did in one go without even having resurrection unlocked(one of the gauntlet final bosses). The mini bosses however... they absolutely shredded me several times. The struggle was real with them the first time around, like seven spears who probably killed me the most times out of any boss lol.
@@shwinkararafat6767 I think you'd be wrong about Malenia if you polled the playerbase. She elicited a much larger reaction in forums and youtube than saint isshin did
I mean he is hard but not that hard, his 2nd phase was where i died the most cuz in the 3rd all we need to do is deflect and deflect and parry the lighting

Bloodborne will feel like a cakewalk after doing Elden Rind DLC and Sekiro! Still challenging of course, but your blood pressure will be ok.

That’s cool the blade can do that, so it’s technically stronger than Wolf’s mortal blade?
@ImCelest Well they both have their own strengths. Only the red mortal blade can get dragon tears

Fr the glock saint aint no joke
He’s harder than Malenia bro…
“Nah I’d parry🗿” (I really only had to use the firecrackers once and that was in his second phase)

i actually prefer deflecting the ashina cross just because it feels really satisfying
@@abdulmannanbabar8020 fair enough but for beginners, this is something worth noting down.
Now do it again with the bell on
Never playing that game again bro. Ggs

Yessirr and right on that! Everytime I lost I just had to try again cuz I knew I could get him and I finally did lol
NOW. BLOODBORNE AWAITS!
YESSIRR EDITING EP 1 RN!

The boss fight was visually stunning and that’s amazing you can now no hit him. I’ll def check out that crab souls like
Am i the only one who found isshin to be easy?😭🙏
you gotta be kidding bro…
He took me just 7 tries😭@@ImCelest
Fr his second phase was just a bit tricky to adapt to but in the end I just got greedy, and I think I know that every souls player knows that the “greedy never get”
Hesitation is defeat bro
😔
Isshin is GOATED. But yes understandably tough
indeed he is my brotha
He was the true hero in sekiro😔

Such a crazy amount of skill to be able to no hit him. Dude had me second thinking my existence lol

by the way seems like u never try to double jump when enemy use sweep attack, it can deal a lot of poise damage
I got the Platinum in this game. I don't judge anyone. Have fun and congratulations
def gonna go for the platinum in NG+ and thanks bro!
Such an amazing boss fight. But I think consort radahn is harder to beat (or was b4 the nerfs)
Radahn was insanely hard as well
Funny how things are different for all of us. Malenia and Radhan both took over four days and well over a hundred tries to beat, while Isshin was done in eight attempts and roughly half an hour
Ur just too good brotha 🙏🏾
Correction: Glock Saint Isshin
bro pulled the blicky outta no where lmao
@@ImCelest fr tho. for those you actually played the game without spoilers, that was just a big fk u to the face. Doesn't beat the first hand experience of guardian ape tho
There was three other endings you got the common one
Definitely gonna have to do a NG+ for all the other endings
Shura 💀
I warned ya lmao i lost 40x
I lost more then that 🤣
I was probably 10-20 times, I played the whole entire lies of P so I was pretty prepared for this game.
True finale boss was guarding ape lord Isshin is easy demon bell helped a lot
LMAOOOO

I really felt like malenia is meant for Elden ring but her whole entire moveset just doesnt feel like she is in the right game😅
Actually there's another fight with him in another ending the bad ending you face him and he have a different fight moves faster and dangerous 😈
Frl? Looks like im gonna have to do a NG+ run
Now try Siding with Owl in Mid game if you're playing NG+. It will not take too much time just 1hr is enough.
Will def try that next. I know this game has more then one ending
I'd put promised consort, malenia, and erlang above this guy difficulty wise tbh
Yeh you would but majority wouldn’t especially malenia and erlang

I gotchu bro 💯
I mean he is hard but not that hard, his 2nd phase was where i died the most cuz in the 3rd all we need to do is deflect and deflect and parry the lighting
his second phase was hell
Isn't Erlang harder, because you told why he is harder than the other two but not Erlang
nah Isshin is harder
nah erlang you can cheese with fan and rock transformation. Isshin you gotta be good at the game
@@killallhokkiensf3701 facts lol
It took me a week
😭
Everyone is OP smdh...
Knowing that you can beat every one is soooooo satisfying (when you beat them)
😭
Ik bro!
@ImCelest I'm at the 3/4 mark of the game...I don't know if I want to play to see the secret endings 🤣🤣🤣
Have you fought Inner Father? Cuz IMO he’s way Moore annoying and punishing than Isshin.
no but I will on NG+ I gotta see what all the hypes about lol
Good now try beating stronger owl the one in hirata estate
I definitely will in NG+🙏🏾
nah he much easier than radahn, just try using mortal draw more
Not rlly erlang is a bit harder but overall Sekiro is alot harder than bmw
Erlang was pretty hard as well
@@ImCelest ngl I just replayed both boss fights today and I found them almost equally as hard.
He was easy to me
Ur just too good
Ur way too aggressive to the point where u don't even remain patient enough to learn his attacks. U just attack way too much.
