Also, this is a great review. Might be a bit long for some, but if you’re thinking about buying a Bronco, it’s not. I haven’t found any other review on UA-cam that’s this comprehensive.
Gorgeous Bronco! A very thorough and thoughtful review of the vehicle, inside and out. Bravo! I'm waiting on my own 2-door Badlands now and hoping to take possession sometime this year. I liked the fact that you didn't make such a fuss over some of the minor body issues, all of which can be addressed and resolved with relative ease. Great idea to add the hook & loop fashioned patches to the ceiling sound deadener material. Never thought of that! Newly subscribed and alerted. Looking forward to seeing more of your Bronco-related content. See you in the Bronco Nation... BuckYeah
Thank you! I knew a first year would have issues and the few small ones I have on mine don't deter me one bit. I'm loving my Bronco. Good luck with yours, I hope your wait is over soon!
@@mikemorton0 always tough. I remember consuming everything I could then avoiding anything bronco for awhile while waiting for mine. It’s an emotional roller coaster.
Very nice, thorough review. Are you planning a driving impressions/features video? I'm especially interested in Stop/Start use, (on and off road) as well as the hill hold feature with the manual trans. I have a Base with Sas and 7MT being built soon (hopefully). Thanks!
Congrats! The manual is incredible for off-road. The anti-stall feature allows you to focus on braking and clutch release without the gas for precise control. I’ll put more together soon.
My focus rs has auto stop/start with the manual. It works pretty well and fires right up as soon as you breathe on the clutch, just a little annoying especially knowing the turbo is cooking in it’s own oil at traffic lights. I turned it off with forscan.
@@benslagel2472 Hey Ben! What is forscan? I don’t have mine yet but my wife’s car has it. Drives me nuts. The thought of a starter working this much is ridiculous. It has a switch on the dash but you have to use the switch every time you start again. Thanks
@@bandygram no problem. Excellent in depth video. Also excellent pick trim and option wise. My 2 door badlands manual high package is finally scheduled to be built. Can't wait. Was going to go with lux but suddenly I was scheduled so no going back!
@@jeffkovacs2823 You got my exact config! Mine hasn't been scheduled for production yet (that I know of), what color did you get (I got eruption green)?
@@benjaminford8173 I went with cactus gray. The eruption green i strongly considered but wasn't vibrant enough for me. The green they previously showed on a gas can/camera box for some event was amazing and I would've switched for that color but I have a feeling it'll be used on a heritage or everglades edition.
You posted 16 & 20 gal fuel capacity for 2 & 4 door Broncos respectively. The actual capacities of those are: 2 door/16.9 and 4 door/20.8 Hey, when it's only around 16 - even .9 is critical! LOL Very informative video. Thanks for posting
Still waiting on my ‘22 Cyber 2-door 3-pedal SAS. My build has been bumped from January, to March and now it’s late April. I loved the comprehensive review “under the skirt”. It’s the best one on YT right now.
@@bandygram Thanks for the response! also looking to get a set for my Cyber Orange badlands. The bronco color I think falls right in between the orange and yellow shackle colors.
Really good video, though I’m only about 10 minutes in to it. I’m waiting for my MY22 2dr Badlands EG 7MT MGV, Sasquatch, Lux, Tow, and roof rack (I’m a late Aug 2020 res, and have several constraints, tow package being one of the build killers at the moment, so I’ve got a long wait.). Question: If you had been pushed to MY22, or if it had been an option for the 7MT in MY21, would you have added the Sasquatch package?
I wouldn’t have since with the manual the only difference is the wider fenders, an extra 0.4” of shock height, wheels and tires. I wouldn’t mind all of those additions but I don’t love the look of the sasq wheels and for $4k I could find a set of wheels and tires I prefer in that size or keep these wheels since I do love how they look. With the manual and badlands I get all the same gearing, axles, etc as sasq
@@bandygram Makes complete sense! I ask only because I'd been considering dropping Sasquatch for similar reasons. Further, I figured I could just run the stock 33s until I came up against something I couldn't accomplish with the stock setup, which could take some time as I'm NOT a rock crawler for the sheer sake of crawling, but merely out of necessity should I come across challenging terrain while trying to get from point A to point B off the beaten path. Given other realities (commodity constraints), I may also finally give in and drop the tow package, sadly.
problems might not be a big deal for you, but i had to spend $600 dollars on a rental car which was very hard to find to have my dealer tell me that an engine tap was "normal" on a vehicle with 500 miles. i doubt many people have as good of an experience with trying to get problems addressed as you. also, i wonder if one thing is poorly done, how many other things are poorly done?
I’m believe I mentioned the issue with the cowl in this video. To this day and 23k miles since new I have no issues to report. I’ll make a follow up video with more details. Any questions you’d like me to address more deeply?
Still waiting on mine. July 25 2020 reservation. Ordered model years twice...and no communication from Ford whatsoever. Sucks. Hopefully I get word soon.
3500 towing is respectible, enough for a decent sized ski or fishing boat. Most sedans are rated 1500 lbs. This isn't designed to complete with pickups in towing.
Totally get it. I'm ok with the compromise, but I've got big goals and towing is one that I'd really like to accomplish so I can have my Bronco with me at races.
Haha fair enough. Just fully qualifying what the vehicle is for those looking to know the full name. Honestly, I thought it was yellow at first anyhow 🤷♂️
Thanks for sharing. Wish there was more showing the hood up and the doors and top off.
Great video man! Only video I’ve seen showing everything in detail underneath the car

you can put the sasquatch wheels on the badlands without any modifications but you must remove the crash bars in the front.

Good choice! Hope it comes soon!

The horn when closing door with power on is a ford thing. It can be disabled with forscan, I have done it to mine and it works perfect

Are the USB ports on the dash for charging only?
Yes, I'm not aware of any data connection available up there. Carplay is wireless so I don't really use a data connection for anything.

Less face more truck.
36 miles is nothing, pretty common to see this on any new car.
I've seen plenty of cars new with less than 10 so it seemed a bit odd to me, but not a complaint.
