I was not a fan of the game when it first came out. Just not characters I was interested in. But now with such an expanded roster, including some deep cuts (Inhumans are my jam!) I am really enjoying it.

I agree the price for this game outside the core set is kinda crap. But the rules are great the models are nice and the fun is there. Plus you don’t need 10 figures technically but everyone wants to buy more than they need.
Plus you don’t need 40 books and a new faq every 5 mins like another game I know.

Been on the fence about MCP, considering joining with the X-Men. Glad I got to see them in action on your channel. Maybe I’ll go for it.
It'll sound fanboi-ish, but MCP is a pretty fantastic game to actually play; Marvel super heroes aside.
@@aaronbrown4275 I’ll second what you said. I’m a very casual Marvel fan (cartoons/cards as a kid, movies now), but this game is so good that I’ve been choosing it over stuff like Star Wars Legion… even though I’m a huge Star Wars nerd.
The Mutants got me to finally buy in and I have zero regrets. Perfect skirmish game
The ruleset is incredible. As a skirmish game, it is second to none and so FUN.

love all your videos, but will definitely watch all MCP battles. Especially X-Men affiliate. Cant wait for all the new card changes to help balance the game out some. I appreciate you talking out the rules and being better than some at following rules. Also, love this guy your playing with being very helpful. keep them coming. Also what is the name of that mat. I need a good city mat.
Love the MCP battle reports. The price of the expansions kept me away (they make GW look cheap). I really should pick up the core set though.
Core set gives you plenty to pick and choose from just to start off with. Seeing how much they've expanded, you can probably pick up a specific faction at this point to enjoy.
They're about go up. Star wars legions is +25 to +75% in prices. Unless the prices for this were already increased...
Their prices are pretty typical for sprue plastic miniatures. GW, MCP and WWX all have sprue plastic minis in a similar price range.
@@mikey_vengenz I can get five models in a Malifaux box for the same price I pay for two models in Marvel. The price isn't competitive in the slightest with Marvel as you're paying almost entirely for the brand.

May I ask how big the game matt your using is? I have 2x2 foot City map that I used for this game (love it can't wait to get some x-men) and it seemed cramped. Your one looks almost too big so just wondering?
The game is played on a 3x3’ mat, which is what this is :)
