After all, that was a moment of relinquished guard on his behalf. As he is talking to another man, a stranger at that, about his feelings. Moreover, those feelings and speaking on them now both come from a vulnerable place for most men. Not only is he noting the possibility of rejection he was worried about, but he's saying this in public after all, and on camera, to a man that could vert well decide to pass judgment in his next comment. Yet he's doing so anyway because that is what happened, and it's a well-known fact that women value honesty. Particularly in cases when shes relinquished all control to him by letting him speak for them both. So that may very well be a lot of trust she had put in him in that moment as well. After all, he could have simply made her tell it. That way, he wouldn't have bad to shoulder anything of the sort. Heck, he could have simply let her speak the whole time, been cocky regarding their situation, or just plain lied at the parts that made note of him insecurities. However, he could tell she was feeling really shy, and so he decided to tell it the way he knew it was. Therefore, he told it the way he thought she would have. Women tend to focus on the things men do that show kindness, sensitivity, and vulnerability. Emotional strength, as we know that they already have the phyaical, but we can't see inside their heart and mind unless they choose to show us... So, of course, that is where the biggest worries often lie. Yet, in that moment, it was those very aspects he had chosen to display. All whilst taking the lead in an otherwise awkward conversation happening on camera. There was a lot that had just occurred there in those few moments, and so she was thanking him for that. As if saying... Hey, I see you. I appreciate this. Now, while this can basically be done by making any gesture of physical closeness at that very moment. That move in particular, however, is one that's meant to quite literally put herself all around him. It's a protective move that we do when someone we care for is perhaps feeling overwhelmed, and/or they have put themselves between us and a dangerous or uncomfortable situation. One foot in front of and one foot directly behind his. This is saying to those around you... This here is my turf. He is under my protection because he put me under his. At the same time, it's telling him that she has his back and that he's doing great. Truly, a sweet interview, although im sure they were happy when it was over. Lol

Same situation as myself, I'm a former crook and fell in love with an incredible lady who is a detective for the police. Its crazy how love works and something we often joke about together.
I guess it's pretty rare. I cant count the flights and travel I did , I never met anyone. Only men who were taken talked to me and a drunk man more recently. Same everywhere most men who talk to me are taken and sometimes I like men who turned out to be taken ( I wouldnt know not their status ). Not all the time but it happened. I understand and your point is valid, but I met my husband on an app when real life connections were an extremely limited option. Just want to share...he's everything!😍After an 18 year marriage to a narcissist which left me emotionally and psychologically depleted (thank Allaah I had kids to care for during the marriage, otherwise I would have sunk into a depression), I had no idea a husband could be like my new husband! He looks at me all tender, and he wants to look at me all the time, where my ex would purposely not comment when he saw that I had put on some makeup or jewelry that day. He notices every effort I make and calls me by words of endearment, where my ex would tell me that if he complimented me or was soft with me, then I would start to think too much of myself. He has so much care in his voice when he talks to me, and touches me with such care. Yup, I'm in love! And he's in love with me! I sat down next to a guy on the train. We were coincidentally both going to the same concert. We talked for a bit and spent the whole evening together. Exchanged numbers, but didn’t really talk after that (because we were both very busy with work and studying). A month later we ran into each other again at another concert. He came home with me that night, because we didn’t want the night to end. Ended up talking till sunrise. He never left. My home became our home. Been happily together for a few years now :)
