My Heart ist bleeding. 😩 Even you are enjoying the ppf thing, but I’m hoping there will be an old school detailing episode with perfect paint correction soon again.

Superb video and thanks for showing what the PPF can do, I polished the door Pillars on my mums Seat Arona and even with careful washing they are picking up a few light marks. Also ever had any issues with your Carbon Collective nano polisher, Great bit of kit but mine seems like if it gets to hot it cuts out. Will restart but sometimes doesn’t last long. Not sure if battery or motor related, thought it best to ask as yours will get a lot more use than mine.

This makes me miss my 991.2 Carrera that I sold back to dealer this time last year. He finally made me an offer I couldn't refuse after he lost 11 incoming Porsches in the freighter that sank in the Atlantic after the fire.

How are you liking the Sony headphones? Same model I have and I love them for traveling.
They're decent, Jamie - sometimes the noise cancelling takes a second to sort itself with new frequencies etc. Might be something i'm doing wrong in the settings.. Otherwise, very pleased.
@@WhiteDetails Nice. I noticed the lag as well. I figured out that if you just turn them on, then do nothing for about 30 seconds, the software 9Sonly App) that drives them sorts out the settings on any paired devices and everything goes smooth from there. I like the pass through when you speak so you can hear people talking to you when you want to.

And without a major correction, you save clear coat.
There is that, too. Essrntially, you're unnecessarily removing an amount of clearcoat. And, clocking up 8-12hrs labour! I've been amazed with the PPF so far.

Why do you add a ceramic coating on top of ppf?
For maximum protection.
Genuine question, not a criticism. How do you cut the ppf on the panel without scoring the paint? 🤔
The ppf is pre cut for the car,no cutting required.
Hi Pete, where trimming is required, you're only 'scoring' the upper surface and then it tears nicely along the trim line. Takes a little practice!

Porsche apply protection to the lights at construction in the form of laminate . Adding ppf is not recommended .
