Not that anyone in his circle cares about that. When the crew is watching the video of Jesse's confession and he talks about it, the only thing Uncle Jack cares about is that Jesse ratted on his nephew.
And barely a couple minutes later, the mustachio'd guy is talking about smacking the shit out of kids on bicycles, and I was there thinking "Ha funny, you should say that."
This is also one of two times he talks disrespectful about Jesse because he mentions what a little guy he is here then later when Walt is putting a hit on Jesse and Jack mentions sarcastically about him being an ultimate badass we see Todd smiling and shaking his head no.
I read somewhere that Todd and Jack's actors had decided that Todd's mom was a drug addict and that Jack had taken him and raised him as his own. Like the Salamancas, they're evil, but they love family.

What a great story. Just a harmless train heist that went off without a hitch. Nobody was hurt, and everything worked out perfectly. Everyone at the scene of the heist lived happily ever after.
Todd supposedly shot Drew Sharp because Walt and Jesse made it very clear nobody outside the crew could ever find out about the heist. I feel like it shows how almost "down to earth" these villains are compared to all the ones before them.
Jack is a really underrated villain
He reminds of a character you’d see on The Walking Dead who’s just the leader of a gang of bandits

Notice how Todd never mentions shooting the boy on the dirt bike
Not that anyone in his circle cares about that. When the crew is watching the video of Jesse's confession and he talks about it, the only thing Uncle Jack cares about is that Jesse ratted on his nephew.
And barely a couple minutes later, the mustachio'd guy is talking about smacking the shit out of kids on bicycles, and I was there thinking "Ha funny, you should say that."
@@satireisnotdead5804 And the kid on the dirt bike was wearing a helmet too just like how he hated lol

I read somewhere that Todd and Jack's actors had decided that Todd's mom was a drug addict and that Jack had taken him and raised him as his own. Like the Salamancas, they're evil, but they love family.
3:48 I'm glad he clarified that it was for the kid's own good. That makes all the difference.
Those bunch of fools really are a family. It’s weirdly wholesome seeing them bond. Then you remember they’re universally hated for a laundry list of legitimate reasons by everyone.

Notice how uncomfortable the waitress seems when she pours them coffee. When Jack asks for the check, she has it in her apron, indicating that she had wanted to get rid of them quickly that she had it so readily available.
Waitresses deal with creeps like this on a daily basis.
The last minute of this clip is a great example of what rounds Breaking Bad out as one of the best shows ever. Nothing happens to move the plot forward, but the dialogue and attention to these guys' mannerisms and attitudes brings their characters to life and sucks you in. Other less engaging shows either don't spend much time doing this or don't imagine compelling characters. The nazi crew is such an interesting mix of brutality and levity
I found it boring AF. Anyone can write a meaningless scene that doesn't advance the plot.
@ that’s only because you have unsophisticated taste (sign of low IQ). Anyone can write a scene that simply
advances a plot. Anyone can write action. That’s easy. Not anyone can imbue a seemingly actionless scene with depth

I still have a feeling that Gene will suit up one last time as Saul Goodman and get his final redemption like Walter did in BrBa. I hope he tries to make things right for Kaylee Ehrmantraut as well as Drew Sharpe's parents (which is what Jesse tried to do when Saul and Walt stopped him).
I doubt it. Saul is not better than Gus, Eladio or Jack. They all have 0 remorse and dont care if people get hurt
Man
Maybe he goes to germany to kill hitler
Or he'll get 86 years in prison.
Lol jimmy MIGHT have done that. Saul is remorseless and is so full of self justification that he's oblivious to his own self.
Todd always struck me as the Michael Myers of BB.
The cousins seemed more like Michael Myers...barely ever spoke and were very hard to kill.
Todd left out the coolest part, the part where he guns down the little guy! He’s too humble.

I don’t know if there’s ever been a more perfect sociopath role in the history of tv. Jesse Plemons was wonderful in this role.

Todd didn't even mention the threat he dealt with. That's how modest he is.
its so great the almost disconnect between the waitress and these 3 guys at the table, almost like theyre living in different planets

He took that rule so seriously he killed a child without hesitation, yet here he is telling his uncle the whole story (he did leave out that 1 key detail tho lol) goes to show u how psychotic Todd is fr

I love the Hooper reference and compliments here in this scene. Hooper actually was a good movie. Reynolds started appearing in a lot of bad movies right around then, and for some reason, Hooper seems to have been unfairly tossed into that heap which for anybody who has actually seen it knows it doesn't belong in the pile with Stroker Ace and Heat and too many others to name.
Boogie Nights pulled him out of that mess. It's arguably, aside from Deliverance, his greatest role. And he hated that movie and the director. Marky Mark DamdiCaprio also hates the movie too now that he's a Jesus freak who's guilty over blinding a Vietnamese guy and not stopping 9/11

Todd was an important character to introduce to the show because his presence reminds us that Walt turns out to have some of that sociopath in him as well. If we wanted to imagine that Walt was just a normal guy who's doing abnormal things, he's not. Walt can also be a cold-blooded killer and not lose a whole lot of sleep over it.
