My eyes opened wide when you said you work at a vet clinic. The past few years I've worked at a vet clinic. We need more exotic animal experts. Birds, reptiles, rats etc. There's not enough vets out there for them.

So much to say. Having a place to go for work is huge, and feels great. Congrats. Rents suck, mine j went up (legit might be a step backwards honestly if I can’t get a raise or it doesn’t equate). I think the yt algo pushed me to u months and months ago cause I lost my sales job a few months before you lost your job. The moving, the upheaval, the relapse, the unknown; legit in some ways are paths are carbon copy. It’s like are experiences are on a several month time delay lol. Anyway, this is the good time. Enjoy your days at work, be proud of the achievement. Don’t let the fact that your living through it all in real time dull the achievement. Look at this from the 30k ft view and be proud of yourself (cause there’s a lot of people unfortunately prolly around you and in your orbit (personally and professionally) that are low key jealous of your job and want what you have). I remember the first work day I didn’t have a place to go to cuz I was laid off and wasnt employed, hit me like a shovel. You won by having this job, getting through that little relapse. I’ve looked into a lot of peoples stories; after someone looses a job shit can go so south. A job has so much pull on someone’s mentality and identity (I know it did mine). It’s so common for people to loose a little job and then they just think they are the biggest failure and they tank their life and stop trying. So happy you didn’t let it take you under man. I knew it wouldn’t, but the haters in your comments made me mad, cuz when your going through it the last thing you need is haters and people don’t understand that going through it is sometimes part of the process. Just keep the rotten people away, the jealous type of people who put rats in your head and say mean things j to hurt people. You got this. I j wanna be 1 of the people to affirm that, indeed, you got this 👍
