It's "Fantasma!" I grew up in southern AZ, I only saw this movie in Spanish for so long. I didn't understand everything that happened or what they were saying.
Ah, the days long gone where you would walk out of the theater with genuine emotional involvement instead of being pissed you wasted your time and money
Great choice! Hey, given that it's the 30 year anniversary of Brandon Lee's death, do you think you could do The Crow? Or next year, for the anniversary of its release?
@@theNewBee Oh did you? I'll check. If you couldn't tell from my name, it's my favorite movie ever. I saw it 7 1/2 times in the theater in 1994, and probably a thousand times since. No movie has ever come close! Brandon Lee was so fantastic. What a loss. I was broken up by Swayze's death too. Such a horrible, lingering way to go. I was actually thinking about him last week, as my physical therapist was talking about "Take On Me" and the lead singer in A-Ha reminded me a little of Swazye.
May be hard to believe, but I'm NewBee's age, and I still haven't seen Ghost! Gonna have to see it with my wife. BTW, you look much better with the haircut, NewBee!
I haven’t seen this movie for a long time. So the plot is coming back to me. I’m sure that Spike Lee would have some choice words on the Whoopi Goldberg character. But the issue that I have with the film: it too strongly toys with the audiences’ emotions. I think a movie could be made with the same setup without feeling as contrived. I would go “thumbs sideways” on “Ghost” since it has some strengths and weaknesses.
My mum and I exchange "Ditto's" because of this film. Swayze was a god and it's still sad to know he's gone, but at least he left behind an amazing legacy.
My mother loved this movie and that song. She left my father to protect me around my birth. She told me, she'd rub my back and sing the song, to put me to sleep. She said it was how she got over her love for my father as well.
Love ghost and great rating 4 1/2 🐝s I know you have done eight legged freaks but have you thought about doing arachnophobia I think that would be a funny newbee review just throwing it out there is all 😁 if not that then how bout maximum overdrive with Emilio estevez
"The cat has no use for Sam since he can’t feed him anymore." 😂 So true!
I'm not crying, you are 😢 The review is pure gold, thank Tom and Vinnie!
Whoopi was so good in this and provided much needed comic relief. "I don't want to go to heaven, I want to go to the bank and cash the god damn check"
Even though I've seen this many times, I still tear up at the end. Even in this review, dang it. But great job!
Demi Moore looked so cute with short hair there. I now remember crushing on her as a kid, even though back then I didn't realise it was crushing

3:03 Did anyone else think the lyrics were going to be "hunger for some lunch"? lol!
That moment when Molly realizes she can hear Sam's voice again breaks me every single time.
This movie still hits me hard. It’s so hard to say goodbye and coming to terms with someone passing.
Swayze never liked the "the love inside take it with you" line

I believe I did the Crow already

Dang, I never saw the movie but I can see why you get so teary eyed. Just by watching the clips of the movie itself makes me emotional.
Do yourself a favor and watch the whole movie you will absolutely love it!
@@sAINTDeVille I might just do that,

Galactica, now THERE is a movie!
My mother loved this movie and that song. She left my father to protect me around my birth. She told me, she'd rub my back and sing the song, to put me to sleep. She said it was how she got over her love for my father as well.

One of my favorite movies of all time
You should do Obsesed next
Sam was a dick regarding the money. He put Oda May in serious danger, and then stiffs her on the check! Literally!
He saved her from the IRS
@@theNewBee Coulda given her a couple of grand, you know, for the effort.
My parents' named me after the "Ditto" line. Never watched the movie until I was in High School. No wonder I was such a sap for romance movies
Shoot. Patrick Swayze is dead! ?!

For 20+ years anytime someone asks what did I do to my hair/where did I get something etc I say

I am planning arachnophobia... Still psyching myself up
@@theNewBee awesome looking forward to it And keep up the great reviews 😁👍🐝
Appreciate the effort with the song video with aliens but cannot listen to it since it is so off-key.
And that's how I fooled the copyright bot
@@theNewBee Love your channel!
Not sure what's more terrifying, the shadow demons in Ghost, or Whoopi's transformation from respected award-winning actress into Jabba the Hutt.
