MATERIALS
6x12 paper OUTSIDE PAPER
4 3/4 x 4 3/4 chip PURSE BODY
1 1/2 chip PURSE BOTTOM
4 1/2 x 11 paper INNER LINER
10 1/2 x 10 1/2 paper. BOX
FOUR 7/8 x 4 3/8 lightweight chip OPTIONAL
7 3/8 x 7 3/8 acetate. OPTIONAL
TWO 1 1/2x 12 strips scored at 1/2 and 1 1/8. Glue closed. HANDLES
Two 1 1/2 x 6 scored at 1/2 and 1 1/8. Glue closed. DECORATIVE RING STRAPS OPTIONAL
Magnet set OPTIONAL
Brads OPTIONAL

To make the purse body, place chip with 1/8 spacing on OUTSIDE PAPER, mitre corners and glue down 🚫
Place OPTIONAL DECORATIVE RING AND STRAPS
Adhere INNER LINER
To Make The Box
Score BOX paper at 1/2 and 3 on all four sides. Fold and burnish scores
Remove three square corner pieces from all four sides and mitre cut tabs
Glue tabs to form box
Place chip sides and glue down flaps
Glue BOX to Purse bottom and purse back
Apply magnets OPTIONAL
Glue HANDLES closed and attach to the purse.
Score acetate at 1 3/8 on all four sides
Fold and burnish scores
Completely remove four corner corner tabs and place in box.
Decorate to your liking

Maybe you just stumbled on this channel because of this cute project and are just taking a peek at the comments section...If that's you then hi 😄 I have been a subscriber for a while so I thought I would do a quick review for you. I really hope you will subscribe because I believe this is the best paper craft channel on UA-cam. Please "like" if you agree. I promise I didn't say that to get an ego-boost! I don't know Sherie personally (not even sure I've spelled her name right 🙄) I am doing this review for you - and because I believe excellent work needs honest reward.
The first thing is that, unlike a lot of other channels, Sherie is not constantly trying to sell you something. I don't object to people making a profit from their work. I run a business and write professionally. However, you have to be really careful. There are some very manipulative sales tactics around, some even borderline dishonest. That is not too strong a statement.
On this channel if something is recommended, it is a genuine recommendation. The projects are consistently original, stunningly beautiful and made to a high quality standard. When I first saw a project I thought I would never be able to make it, but to my surprise, it turned out really well. The reason is not down to me, but down to the careful and detailed teaching. I am very grateful for the measurements being in the description box.
I have now made quite a few projects and every one is perfectly measured so it is sure to come out well. I honestly think I have become a better paper crafter for watching these videos and making some of the projects. Sherie also gives tips there and there to help us all produce quality work. I really find it useful when she produces cute little projects for using up scraps.
I just want to tell you that I find this channel truly excellent and I recommend you subscribe and press that bell to see what the next project is. The tips you learn here can be used in other crafting designs of your own.

Hey Sherry, you are a amazing paper crafter and I made this purse but the acetate says cut at 73/8 by 73/8 and then it says score at 13/8 but you say on this to score at 11/2well I did both and still didn't fit oh ithe purse part came out great and I also did your flower boxes so cute!!!!!

Thank you Yvonne! I honestly don’t know. I’ll get an idea and then I’ll try it out with paper. Sometimes they work and sometimes I throw them out. I’ve been paper crafting for over 20 years, so I’ve had lots of practice with ideas. I’m so glad you are enjoying the projects.

Hi Angela...not sure I understand. Do you mean like a square box with an attached lid,(attached with paper) or a box that would have true piano hinges on it. Thanks
@@ThePoshPaperLady A paper box that would have a lid/top attached to it by a hinge. A toolbox is my idea. Thinking of using jewelry box hinges and jewelry box latches. Needing to make them as favors (200 guest) to hold chocolate spark plugs for my husband's 60th birthday.
