Bridal shower and baby shower favors. These paper purses are perfect for shower favors, Mother’s Day, Thank You gifts, etc.
Materials
12x6 paper PURSE BODY
Two 3 x 3 1/2 paper PURSE SIDES PIECES
2x5 paper folded in half TOPPER
9 x 7/8 paper. HANDLE
Magnets Optional
Glue
REPTILE GLUE. www.amazon.com...

To make
Score PURSE BODY ON 12 side at 3 1/2, 5 1/2, 9 and 9 3/4
Score PURSE BODY ON 6 side at 1/2, flip and score other end at 1/2
Fold and burnish scores. Glue down two 1/2 purse edges.
Score side pieces at 1/2 on three sides. Fold, burnish and remove small corner piece
Insert Magnet Optional
Glue flap bottom from side pieces to bottom of purse
Glue side panels to purse body
Place 2nd magnet Optional
Glue topper to front flap
Score handle into thirds, glue and attach to purse
Decorate to your liking

This is the cutest little purse! Its the perfect size for me. I've made 3 so far and to present it I decided to create a display case with a clear front and sides using acetate. It looks absolutely delightful and I am so pleased. I don't have a UA-cam channel so I don't know how to share with you but I'm sure you can imagine how it looks. The only thing missing is a prop for it to sit on inside the display case. I have blogged about it and shared it via Facebook of course referring folks to your tutorial. Yes, I thought it would be perfect for her and her personality. We usually go to their house on Easter so would be a nice surprise in her basket! I love all the colors in your box of pearls, hopefully I can find it. (Once I know what they are). BTW, I posted the stationary box on a card site I belong to with a link to your page. Hi Susan, I only used a small glue dot to hold the magnet. Sooooooo, what do you think of adding the chipboard to your box?😀😀

Hi Mardell, glad you are making these. I used glue dots. I don’t spend a lot of time on it in the video, but it does contain a quick demo of magnet positioning😀

Hi Mardell, my magnets are also tiny, but strong! Make sure you get at least two different sizes of glue dots. The really tiny dots are great for the magnets, but larger dots are also great for other projects. It’s my pleasure to share these projects and tutorials with you guys😀
