    This would be my preferred treadmill channel if not for the constant reminder of how far I've run. My treacherous eyes can always read the clock even though I prefer not to know how long I've been running, especially when I'm less than half way through the run and feel like stopping. If the clock timer was much smaller, it also wouldn't distract from the beautiful view; same for the direction arrow, which is also completely unnecessary. Finally, the subscribe reminder is only necessary at the beginning and end of the run. The views and scenery are the absolute best and most interesting on this topic. Thanks for listening to me and best wishes.

    Beautiful! Obviously a popular resort town, but the commercial aspect doesn't overwhelm the natural beauty. Everyone looks so relaxed and content. A real treat! Thanks for this video. I'm not a runner, but I'm now a subscriber. You might think about taking a minute at the beginning of your videos to introduce yourself and say a few words about the locale you're running in. Not essential, but it would be nice. Jim in Michigan

      @@StridesandSummits Are you using the GoPro? Mine is not great in low-light. I'd love to film some night runs though!

    • @StridesandSummits
      @StridesandSummits  2 роки тому

      @@virtualrunning yep, I'm using the GoPro 8. Head mounted with boost stability, no gimbal. I haven't had good luck with the GoPro in other situations for low light, so maybe a different camera would work, though I'd probably need to pair it with a gimbal.

      Thank you Christine! I appreciate the suggestion, but I will never overlay my videos with music. Only I can provide the ambient sounds from the run, and many people appreciate those sounds. Everyone has a different preference for music, and there are often licensing issues with including them in the video. If you want to listen to music while you run, I suggest you play your own!

    Really enjoyed this one, if you don’t mind I would like to screen print a few shots in the beginning of this video. I paint and sketch and the city section has wonderful things to draw. I’m getting use to the arrows….keep up the great videos, looking forward to do some of the older videos.

    The turn arrows are helpful. "Pace" is for me less useful than actual speed. I guess pace is a thing in the running community and I am only a noob using my treadmill from time to time to just run for half an hour.

    • @StridesandSummits
      @StridesandSummits  2 роки тому +1

      Hi Voll Dapp! Thank you for the feedback - I have been considering changing to speed instead of pace as I realize most treadmills use speed. Glad you enjoyed it and keep up the running! Glad to have you as part of the channel 😊

    Thanks for this video, reminded me of my time in that beautiful part of Turkey. Is there any way to get image stabilization so that there's less bouncing, like in the LifeScape videos? Kind of gives me a headache after a few minutes.

    • @StridesandSummits
      @StridesandSummits  2 роки тому

      Thank you Zorba! I appreciate the feedback. Those videos are what inspired me to make these in the first place. I record all of my videos as head mounted during actual runs, and the stabilization is internal to the GoPro. I know others use a gimbal which does a better job at stability, but those are usually hand-held and personally I don't like the perspective at that height. However, I am always looking at ways to get more stable footage. Thank you!

    Hi love you Mediterranean videos. But can I ask a serious question.
    How accurate is the distance??
    Yours says 1 k and my treadmill says just about .7 around the 5 min mark.
    If yours is correct I'm running miles more than I thought. Cheers Steve.
    Not sure which is correct

    • @wildfirewoodcraft6947

      Maybe my speed is kph and my distance is in mph strange they mix the 2 if it is.

    Loved the scenery but the arrows pointing the directions were very distracting. Save yourself the extra work and leave them off next time.

    • @StridesandSummits
      @StridesandSummits  2 роки тому

      Thank you for the feedback Judy! Many people have let me know they really appreciate the arrows, so there's a mixed response out there. I haven't seen any other channels with them so it's one way I differentiate my videos. Keep running!
