So........is it called "basic warranty"?........or is it "comprehensive warranty"? Let me guess.........................................the answer is YES!
It's a bit of both actually - we've got you covered with both a basic warranty and a comprehensive warranty! Because hey, why settle for just one when you can have the best of both worlds?
Typically, issues like this might be covered under the manufacturer's warranty if the vehicle is still within the warranty period or under an extended warranty if you have one. To get a definitive answer, it's best to check your warranty documentation. Take care!
Hi thanks for sharing and enlightening information on bumper to bumper warranty’s. Mine appears to be useless. I needed lower control arm left and right replaced because they were torn, needed two front struts that was leaking and a bunch of fluid changes like transmission, transfer case, brake fluid, etc which my warranty didn’t cover because the shop recommended maintenance and not failed parts. Cost me $2300+! I cancelled the warranty immediately and ask him why did he sell me such a useless warranty, no answer. Now I’m left with a 2016 MDX and no warranty. Any suggestions as to how I can purchase a worthy warranty? Annemarie C
Hey there Annemarie! It's disappointing when you expect coverage and it doesn't come through when you need it most. As for finding a worthy warranty, it might be helpful to research and compare different warranty options from reputable providers. Best of luck finding the right coverage for your Acura MDX!
Bumper-to-bumper warranties can sound too good to be true, but they're legit. Still skeptical? Check the fine print, and you'll see it's the real deal!
My drivers side visor doesn’t stay up against ceiling of my Honda CRV that was purchased in Jan 2020 - the dealership service advisor said it’s not covered by new car warranty of 3years/30,000 miles -btw I only have 19,300 miles as of this post
I have a 2020 Honda CR-V that I got in March 2021. I am close to 36k miles, so the manufacturer's basic warranty is almost gone due to mileage. I called a Honda dealership and they do sell extended warranties. Should I get an extended warranty so it would extend my basic manufacturer warranty from 3 year/36k to 5 year/80k? I would not buy it from a 3rd party. I would be directly from Honda. Your thoughts?

It's time to make a national law against using "Bumper to Bumper" warranty or any other misleading coverages to customers.
We agree it is very misleading! Hope this helped!
Bumper-To-Bumper is a MISNOMER!
Don't know about all that!

We suggest looking at what they cover in the extended warranty. 99% of the time it is well worth it.
Should a person buy an extended warranty. My manufacturer warranty is 5 years 60k miles an 10 years 100k miles for power train
We do suggest it but it's up to you. Here are the details about our vehicle protections: www.mattblattdealerships.com/vehicle-protection.html
