Those were the most well behaved teenagers I've ever seen! The bulls were happy and you asked mama cow where her baby was and she said ... right this way and oh by the way watch what he can do. I think you should have asked for world peace because everything was going your way today! Awesome job!.
😂😂🙌🏻
Hi coracobb3917 - it's plain to see that you've 'done that, seen that'
with your kids !! You're funny !! 😊
A useful tip for putting in a tight gate anchor bolt is to use the hole on the back of a Cresent wrench over the hing pin and use it as a handle to twist it in the hole completely. Saved me a few times.
Love watching you work! You’ve got a very good work ethic as a ranchers work is never done! Those teenagers acted pretty well.
Loved seeing the calf find the refreshment to the rear 😃
That must have been a hallelujah moment seeing the calf latch on the rear bag. Good job.
Mate all your time has been worth it . This little fellow will make a great bull for some beef producer , give him that chance to prove me right
😊😊That poor momas bag gets in her way of walking she steps high .
That's a great level of relationship to have with your livestock. They should never be terrified of you, nor should they think you can be ignored. Seeing Little Boy love a scratch, then respond to the paddle coming out, signifying "OK. You want me to do what next?" was a perfect demonstration. Herd animals have excellent memories for who treats them consistently and kindly. They're also perfectly capable of storing resentment for abuse, and taking their revenge when folk are looking the other way.
Some bulls just have a nasty temperament & can not take eyes off of or turn your back on those ever including bulls that were raised & treated right. Fastest way I know of to get critically injured or dead. FTR has been lucky with his bulls so far but notice he always leaves himself an escape route, always facing them & doesn’t take his eyes off them.
"That's really all I wanted to see today." I feel your relief. I'm happy to see it, too. What beautiful blue sky and fluffy clouds in the background. Your "office" is heavenly. Seems all of your hard work and projects are coming together!
Excellent video! You accomplished a lot! The new Shute is going to be great asset for many years. Missed the dogs!
I ENJOYED WATCHING THE VIDEO TYLER 😊
Good job on getting everyone where thay should be a lot of work but well worth it have a good day.
You had lots of moving around today …glad it all went smoothly!
FTR always has interesting stories and of course activities...
I saw the video where the mule broke down then I saw you driving it. Did you fix it or buy new one?
There always has to be 1 or 2 yearlings in the group who are jokesters & want to do the opposite of what you want them to do. 🤣. Glad the bull calf is doing much better now.
FTR, looks like Little Boy has more respect for the paddle than most children I see today today.
😂😂🙌🏻
Wonderful stuff. Enjoyed seeing the bulls romping. Always amazes me the agility of these bulls and cows.
Good job
Glad you got the scales already to work the teenagers. Thanks for another good video. Glad the calf is doing better. Now you have seen it!
Good update! Moving your cows speaks to one very important thing, all your plans and effort you put into your fencing!! Great to see all your time with the mom and calf has paid off! Just another "Good" day on the FTR!
Held my breath until I saw him suckle the hind quarter. Good job, baby!!!
I did too!! lol then the next shot showed me the difference between that mama’s low down bag and the next mama’s. Crazy!
Another awesome video Tyler! Watching from Australia, with no farming background, but I sure do hang out for each video! One thing though, need to get the box scrapper in the corral and level everything so you can walk more safely rather than risk a sprained ankle!
I noticed that, too. If you know you have to pass through there much, it would be a good thing to do.
They were full of it today 🤠 Precious when the mom and calf you watched for days continued to show you that you have helped them both through a rough patch.🩷🩵 Great video Farmer Tyler
Farmer Tyler, thanks for the peace, yay🤠. We could use some of that visual evidence on the world scene...🤔🙌. Appreciate your sharing. Be safe, strong, discerning and successful ☝🙏🙌💪
10:15 Keep a cheap bar of soap in your drill kit. Rubbing it over the threads of screws and bolts makes it a lot easier to drive through wood.
An easy day for you it looks, love to have those kinda days. Canne wait for the next video!
When you were putting that post in, your soil looked great.
I've gotta say, I love the way you edit and present your videos. You never mire us down on the minutiae. I thank you for that, you do a great job presenting what you do.
Thanks
That was good to see 👍👍👍👍👍👍
Very good video THANK YOU
Moving my yearling heifers today into their spring/summer pasture.... I love it when everyone is where they belong! Thanks for the video Tyler
Looks and sounds like those gates need a little oil nice to see the calf nursing on a back quarter
Great job!
Sure is great seeing the little guy nurse off that back quarter!! Great Job FTR!!
My brain has been partially occupied with the cow with the large utters. If I was a farmer would I keep this cow?
She seems to do everything else just fine but you almost lost a calf. Last year you didn't have to intervene, next year it could be worse or better. I am still thinking about it. Bet you are too......
I love what you have been doing to the place. Thank you for letting me join in on your farm. Really ........you are very good with providing the mental "food" my brain and emotions need. I bet you could be a possible prescription for slightly depressed smart people. 😊
Again thank you. Looking forward to next video dose......lol.
Good morning! You got so much done today! Looking forward to seeing what the yearlings weigh! Blessings to you and your family!
That calf sure was a slow learner but thanks to your patience, he’s finally clueing in.
Great video! Lots accomplished. ❤
Tyler ... This was a very interesting video. I really liked how you worked your cattle. I'm sure it's easier in person than how we see the gates in the video.
I would put two chains on the gate till you change the set up. Great videos.
Hey Tyler, don't forget to lubricate those gate hinges for easier operation !! LOL !!😅
That was the coolest thing ever you asked her where her baby was and she took you write to him
Oh, happy day! So glad to see the little guy doing well and finding his meal. It seems as though that Mama cow understood you when you asked where her baby was. All the cattle now seem to be in their 'happy' place, and the working corral is looking great!
Things just are getting better and better! i do notice that you always keep your to do project list at about the same length. When you finish one, you get an idea and at that point you are lucky if it only adds one project to the list!
I like hearing the future plans for improvement even knowing its years in the future. Helps me understand why he didn’t cement in the post.
Farmer Tyler, you do realize your UA-cam channel is documenting the life, intelligence, skill, and business structure of a successful cattle rancher in the US? Great reference material 👍Far thinker, you are❣️🤓
I totally agree.
I'm exhausted watching you move those cattle! Everything and everybody looks great. Good to see the calf figured out where the milk comes from!
Really enjoying your videos. Thanks!
We have been watching your videos as part of our school curriculum for about two years now, and today my six-year-old expressed an interest in becoming a farmer/rancher when he is grown.
Great success story with #26 and her calf. I believe without your quick intervention, that may have not been the case. Cheers on a great ranching day and the little victories.
GOOD AFTERNOON TYLER
Awe...so satisfying to see the calf latch on to that hind qtr!!! Good job "Ty"😊
Grease zerts in your gate hinges work wonders. I put them in all of ours.
That's a lot of work! Thank you for your dedication and for taking us along! Love ranch life!
Those yearlings are rambunctious!!!!
Love your videos 😊
We kept yelling. Get the back one......
FINALLY!
Man YOU ARE THE KEEPER OF THE GATE!
IM EXHAUSTED FIR ALL YOUR GATE OPENING AND CLOSING. GREAT VIDEO.
Fun to see you work with the cattle. Corral system works well
Great Day
Nice he figured out the back quarter on his own.
New to the channel. Would love some playlists by year. We are trying to catch up and binge watch but after each video we get kicked to another UA-camr. Maybe playlist by years . Love watching your story!
Cool😊
Good morning to you FTR and family.
And what a beautiful day it was!!! Say hi to Mrs. & the kids. 👋🏻
I have a similar corner. I toss a corral panel in it and tie it. Really helps the movement.
Great job Tyler. I think All of them r Happy to see each other. As Always ur Skills r just Superb when Planning Everything out. Love to see the little Teenagers running around together. Keep Rocking!
I love watching you do your chores it’s so interesting thanks so much for sharing part of your day with us all❤ love that the cow and calf are finally out in the pasture enjoying all that green grass …..
So happy you got the calf sorted with his Mama. I can’t wait to see you working the chute. Well done. ❤️❤️❤️❤️well done on moving the 3 lots of kettle around. Looked like fun.😂😂😂😂
Loved the video today Tyler.
I'm glad to see the little guy finding the right tete for feeding. As always, great success to you and your family. Have a blessed day.
Nice planning.
Those yearlings look great, FTR.
Yay! He found the back ones all on his own!
You need more like 48 hour days. Lol. Enjoyed your video. Hope you have a great weekend.
You make me laugh the way you talk to your “ teenagers!”❣️❣️❣️
Yeah 😊 little calf doing great now 😊
Wonderful episode 😊😊😊x
You are so hard working, you seem to know just what to do. I would need so much help.
👋👋👍 Nice when things go to plan. Best wishes from England UK 🇬🇧 have a nice weekend. 😊
Alot of work done , looking forward to seeing the status with the Chickens
thx
I'm so glad that you know where everyone is. I'm totally confused! That was far to many gates for me to keep up with. 😂 Oiling up hinges should should be at the top of your to-do list. Hope everyone has a great rest of the weekend.
Congratulations on the calf you saved being So Successful 👏 ❤😊
❤❤❤
Morning FT! Busy day, always a pleasure to watch your vids! Blessings to you and yours!❤❤❤❤
So glad the little guy figured it out!😅
Bring the old fence post further inside the corral to line up with the new gate that is at an angle instead of extending the fence out toward the road because the ground is uneven and would require alot of time and effort to set up. Also the back barn wall needs reinforcement much more than the fence needs to be changed
Maybe just straighten up the old round post/reset? Awesome job!❤
Great video Tyler. But, they all are.
You can’t claim cattle are the brightest of animals
Finally visual success with that cow and calf !!!!!!!! Yeah, all your efforts have finally paid off. Now, on to checking off those items on your list that have been waiting on the new chute. Congratulations on jobs well done.
That little calf sure has learned how to follow and stay close to Mama! No danger of him wandering away from her in the herd. Thanks for a happy ending to to the atory that began with a skiiny liittle calf you had to teach how to nurse . I just want to say that you have such an easy-going calm attitude . Nothing seems to get you upset or angry. You take eveything in stride. , even when things go wrong. You are a patient man, a rarity now days.
❤
You need an "out of order" sign on that teat😊
Yep some of my older cows lift there leg and don't want the calf to suck or bag to low ,same the world over ,we are in Galway Ireland 🇮🇪
mother with the big udder
Great job with everything!
With your corral protection fence by your squeeze chute; what about placing pipe about 4 feet into ground that has an inner diameter that matches the outer diameter of the posts to your panels? Then, if you want remove your panels you can cap the buried posts off and they would be at ground level and not to be sticking up to pop a tire or trip over. Obviously you would have to likely build the panels with legs at least 3-3.5 feet long out of a gauge steel that will withstand some abuse of cattle.
Just my two cents.
burger strikes back and find milk, good for all.
Baby calf wants a neck massage now
Oh come on, got to learn way down here to eat and you have problems and I'm hungry😊
Tape the front quarters.
@ariat get this man some boots.
Great news about the calf! Can't you just relace the old post with a nice new one so the gate can stop?
ha, ha, I call them teenagers, too. Bunch of troublemakers at that age!
