Your videos are wonderful, everyone agrees on this, you explain everything necessary, but I think what makes your videos wonderful is that you laugh at yourself from time to time. When you laugh, I laugh too. Good day to all the "crazy" people who can laugh at themselves when they're alone in a room. :)
At 9:09 where you use the sphere detail at 300 to get finer phong displacement from the noise - is there a way to get the noise displacement to be even finer detailed (like the finer noise you would get when lowering the noise period on a NoiseTOP)? I tried upping the sphere detail and lowering the Noise period but neither had the right effect.
I m having a problem building this, My render2 says: A MAT is normal map, but the SOP being used with it does not have Tangent attributes. Anyone having same trouble ?
Firstly, thank you for this tutorial! Do you think it would be possible to move the camera manually and transfer the [tx ty tz] values to the selected point frame ?
Is there a way to generate those curves in animation instead of creating them by hand? like some sort of algorithmic animations? maybe import a noise or lfo there, and then add some points and animate them by other lfos?
If you get inside of the animation comp, you can see that all the keys are stored in a DAT table. You can edit that table or feed your generated values that way with a substitude DAT... or python script !
Idk what im doing wrong but i get in trouble when i get to the animation part on putting 5 or 1 on the "V" cause both nodes goes to that number not just the one on the right... idk if im doing something wrong.
Hello! Nice tutorial. Lately I try to make a piece of complicated 3d graphic in Touchdesigner and looked for the best way to animate camera movement. As I found the most simple and smooth way is to set a several cameras, animate them with Chops and make Camera Blend between them. Hope this will be useful for somebody.
No I don't have. It's simple you just need to plug Camera COMPs into the CameraBlend Comp and then it works like a switch between cameras@@florenciabruck
just a simple but vital question here, may I ask what's your computer configuration for running TD? my PC failed at running 3d effects with high resolution and I'm get quite confused about the choice to purchase macpro or other wins laptops??
I've got a custom built PC. AMD Ryzen 7 3700X, 32GB Ram, Nvidia Geforce RTX 2070 Super :) I'd definitely recommend a Windows machine for Touchdesigner as you're not gonna get all features with Mac and Macs often have a shitty GPU.
@@enricobersani8948 Not sure if it's the best way. I mostly wanted to show the animation comp here, this is less about the camera itself. I think in the new version they updated the cameras, so it might be easier now! Haven't really checked it out though
@@elekktronaut thanks a lot anyways, rn im trying to make a decent camera movement through a completly different comp and those curves are making me lose my mind

Totally agree and good day to you too :)
The part about the animation COMP starts at around 9:55
Awesome! This opens whole new world. The days of animating with midi controller with 2 hands, 2 legs and teeth are over. Thank you!
Very cool to know about this... The most things are already said... So a warm thank you for all your work and dedication!
your tutorials are so dope they teach you what they advertise and like 10x more THANKS!!!!

Hi,I want to use animation to control parameters with time. But when I add many points in a single line,it works wrongly and I do not understand why.

Thank you so much Bileam. do you teach TouchDesigner, or just have your patreon?
Just Patreon, I'd love to do more teaching in person once this crisis is over
@@elekktronaut for my it's going to be a little difficult because I'm in Colombia but thanks. All your videos teach me a lot!
Have you Tutorials about exporting as video?

very cool, thx
if only we had a bezier curve editor in TD

Hold Up...Can you change the Channel Colors in Touch? I noticed your Noise Channels are Pink and Purple.
Yes, have a look in the preferences :)
@@elekktronaut so cute i changed mine to matrix green
is this really the best way to move a camera in a 3d scene?
cant just i align it to a spline or something?
