Mr. Kishore Thapa is a Architect and an Urban Planning Expert at Nepal Institute for Urban and Regional Studies. He was also a former Secretary at Ministry of Urban Development, Government of Nepal and an Independent Candidate for the Mayor of Kathmandu City in the 2017 election. Besides, he was the SLC board topper in 2031BS and has also spent more than three decades in Government Service Jobs. He stayed in executive position in government, entered and promoted because of his competitiveness, not because of voting. He had 30+ years of training to execute plans and review policies.
