I spent my teens in W. Sussex and her name is familiar however having lived in Glastonbury and now the Tipperary Mtns, Eire, it sounds far more west than Sussex, idk. Lovely all the same, I guess auld folk music in these isles is much for muchness, infact I also hear a lot of what might have influenced Joni Mitchell, Melanie Safka, Donovan Liech and doubtless many more. Thanks for posting 💝🙏💫
That's interesting, cheers. I don't know much about the particular styles or song origins as they relate to specific regions. I'm sure Miss Collins was aware of such things, but I believe she was more concerned with playing English folk music, in her own way (though she is in my opinion the quintessential English folk singer, she was bound to put her own "spin" on it to some degree). This is the only release of hers I've seen that mentions where she herself was from.
Nice
Cozy 😊
Beautiful
Wonderful, thank you.

Nice. There is something pure about the self accompanied singer and their string instrument.
Definitely!
