Started using a Wacom One Pen in August for my Samsung S tablet. Been so happy with that decision. Great stylus pen. Now They have Wacom + Dr. Grip! I love Dr. Grip. It's been my favorite pen since the 8th grade. It's so cool they have combined the two. Definitely will buy one in the future. These are great for Samsung tablets, which is my favorite tablet to use.
It's odd that the packagign doesn't mention Pilot and it doesn't appear in any Pilot catalogue. However, it is mentioned as 'Pilot Dr. Grip' on Wacom's website, and 'Dr. Grip' is Pilot's brand and trademark, so couldn't be used without their permission.

Yes, we're not sure the thinking behind the r&d, build, or marketing, but what we can tell you is we waited 2 years for this stylus, and it did not disappoint It feels incredible to write with, and is being received quite positively

Intuos pro use a different EMR i Guess? Wacom site does have a list of devices with Who the pen stylus Is compatible with, mainly Wacom Ones and by extension android devices Who have EMR support mainly.
Dr. Grips were always my favorite writing pens. A digital version of that would be fantastic.

Yes pilot has been removed from all packaging and media

No, only on those with EMR technology, which as much as I know, only those Samsungs have, that take the SPen.
