I really like the Nakiri, when I first got it, it definitely felt weird. But after a couple days I really loved it. For me it has that Squiddy effect where when you go back to other balisongs they feel weird and vice versa. There is just that adjustment period and then it becomes really enjoyable. That said, I love the aggressive grip so much.
i think the reason it feels so weird balance wise is because its extraordinarily outwardly weighted. the weights in it are made of steel, the titanium has so much removed from the center of the handles, and the blade has the most tip weight this side of a kukri, so no matter if you think its handle, blade bias, or neutral, itll feel slow cuz youve just got so much outward momentum youve gotta get started.

If I could offer some perspective to possibly help quell your confusion. I think what you're feeling is the crazy tip weight, I definitely didn't feel like this thing was terribly blade biased with those smaller weights in. Tip weight in my experience helps the fans but doesn't make rollovers fly away like blade bias would normally manifest.

I’m very excited to try out a Nakiri. It sounds like something I would enjoy, as I like more blade bias, and fanning is something I love doing.

I quite enjoy mine I got a pretty cool anodization and laser work done on it. I need to send it back into him to get it fine tuned as he has better figured out the tuning so looking forward to see how that changes how it flips but I've just been enjoying mine so much I haven't want to send it in despite it needing to get tightened up every few drops which is annoying but what it is. There's also some tap and blade rub but that is why I'm going to send it back to him to get fine-tuned whenever I do that 😂 Hope you enjoy it Make sure you play around with the weights I think it changes the feel of it greatly.
I had this problem with mine as well I ended up sending to a reputable modder so it woulnt take as long. Should get it Thursday ill be posted an update on the tune wish me luck.

Just want to say that I just got a Vulp and wanted to share
I did COG reports on the Nakiri with all different weight setups and unfortunately if I took anymore weight out of the handles it would be Uber blade bias, but there’s is still a substantial amount cut out on the inside! The blade is just a chunky boy so that definitely adds to the overall weight 🤘
Dude said, put all the weight in the blade? Say no more. And with how I've seen last few people selling desperate to get rid of it; I'm gonna pass.

This has nothing to do with the Nakiri here, however it is balisong related. I was wondering if you guys were ever going to get around to flipping the new LDY Corvus balisong? Just bought one a moment ago myself and am eagerly awaiting to flip it. But since there are only 280 being made in total, I just wanted to give the heads up to you guys to see if you have snatched one up yet. I would not be surprised if LDY had already sent you copies of the Corvus already. But on the off chance that they haven't, just wanted to let you, and everybody else here in the comments know that there are some trainers currently in stock on LDY's website. i have a question about the nakiri. how good is it at cutting fruits and vegetables?
The balance for me is weird, i agree roll overs feel sluggish to me. And the grip gives my hands a odd fatigue after flipping for a while
How to dull out a blade coming soon?
It's funny to me that you find the lighter weights not handle biased enough because to me it's too handle biased. You can't get a neutral bias (until today now that zippy came to the rescue)
