WHen it comes to the steak, in my opinion you had it too high which may account for the smoke. Additionally, you didn't use the sear feature which could account for the pale color of the steak. There are 3 sear levels. Please try it again using the sear feature. I'd be interested to see if there is a difference. Otherwise I do like your videos. Keep up the great work.
I have the round NuWave oven, it's my second one, it cooks steak and chicken perfectly. Frozen is fine too. I put it on the rack, hit cook, 8 minutes, flip it, hit cook 8 min again (for chicken, for steak I do about 10 min per side as I need it fully cooked). You can't beat the original NuWave oven for easy meats. However I don't think it is equal to an air fryer for sweet potato fries etc. so I keep watching the infomercial. Would love something that can do roasted veggies easier than the regular oven.
I got mine a couple months ago. It did take a bit of getting used to, but I like it a lot. Steaks, chops, burgers. Baked fish, baked chicken. Everything comes out really good. I especially like the meat temp probe. Works great for a steak. I'm a medium rare to rare guy and the probe makes it pretty easy.
I just got this. Liked my old round style but was just looking old & it had turned yellow. SEAR should brown it but how do you use that feature? Please answer question about leaving door open when broiling to resolve smoking. Also, I'm confused how to adjust heating top and/or top & bottom. The TOP/BTM feature. The written instructions are really difficult to follow so look forward to your showing us. Thanks.
I got one and I love it. It cooks very well. Probe workshop great. Good investment.. I did a whole chicken, it came cook and juicy I used the roast at 365 degrees and probe. For etter roasting color use the SEAR function first, later the roast. No smoke. . Smoke is cooking fat on the pan. The temperature is so high it starts to burn the fat. The oven is too good. I used a lower position for the tray. You can preheat for less time than 10 mins. 5 mins is enough, tht is the preheat function 5 mins at 450.
Looks perfect to me at 4:30 AM!!!! It’s Sunday so maybe I’ll fire up my charcoal Weber & have a ribeye and eggs for breakfast. I haven’t purchased my unit yet. Just checking out your informational videos first.
Man you needed to hit the sear button to get the color on that steak man... And you should never cook a steak on the top rack the 3rd rack is good... Please hit the sear button and do another video! You made that steak wrong...
Most ovens instruct that the door be cracked open during broil to allow for the excape of steam, otherwise you are baking. This would also allow for less buildup of smoke. Why is this not instructed when using Nuwave Bravo? By the way this is what I do most successfully when broiling. (I have three Nuwave Pics, the Pro Plus and now the Bravo So...love them all !)
We just got the Brio at Kohls but now my husband saw this one online and likes it better cause it's smaller and will match better in our kitchen. But he wants to try this before he returns the Brio which steaks and burgers both came out great so far. He returned the Ninja Foodie Grill and likes the NuWave Brio better. Trying to find a side by side comparison of the Brio and Bravo and can't seem to find one.
Good video. We just got ours on Monday and have been using it, but there seems to be a lot to it. However, I did steaks and they were fantastic, but lacked the look which was not a big deal. We will keep (playing) with it and use it's many features.
It seems that not one of the people testing this unwavering has read the instructions! You would be representing this unit perfectly had you read the instruction booklet.

indeed he forgot the sear function heheheheh
Bro. You don’t preheat it for that many minutes. Thats how long it cooks after it preheats. 😅😅

I read to have the oven about 5" from the wall the back of the oven.
How to light only the bottom part of the oven
can u just heat a bowl of soup ?

In a small unit like this one I don’t believe you should have the rack at the top. Hence the smoke. The heat is more condensed in this small space.
Maybe a light spray of non stick pan
Do you know how to make beef or chicken livers in the oven?
Mine automatically preheats then beeps
Cómo ensender solo la parte de abajo

The Grill function works perfect and is easy to use/
Ronnie 948 , what are the steps to grill a steak, like what pan and height ? I just got a bravo and I’m totally new to this :)
Nuwave pro has a smaller footprint and usesninfrared technology.
Too bad it doesn’t have a rotisserie option. Or this would have been great to have

Hit the sear button and your steak will have the color it needs

To close to the heating elements.
Por favor alguien que explique en español.
Salting meat prior to grilling toughens the meat I’m told.
Good review
User has good intentions but his knowledge of basic cooking technics really was the downfall. Hopefully things got better in time.
That steak is raw.
Lol!!!that steak was perfect other then the lack of siering.

"cooked" is a manner of blood too. I assume you don't eat meat then.
