The Nissan Titan seems to be the best choice to me. They have the naturally aspirated V8 and I keep hearing they have really good reliability. And they can be found cheaper than the rest.

I own a 2022 tundra and so far zero problems, you can’t just say it’s the worst because in Florida it’s so common to see 2022 tundra out on the road than in parking lots! If you want to make fun of me go ahead but there’s a majority who like this truck compared to the other 4 brands 🤷♂️
It seems to me that most half ton pickup owners are looking for reliability over bells and whistles. While it may be nice to have a number of engine options, one can still only have one in the pickup you buy. If that one is a well built engine, then the pickup is good to go.

Such a bad take, just because the tundra only has one engine option. I’ve driven almost all of these besides the Chevy and the tundra for price, reliability and cost to own destroys all these other ones. A limited trim 1500 ram is around 86k and a loaded tundra hybrid is 72k. What accounts for another 14k? What the resale value after 3 years?
Yea, saying the Tundra is last on the list is total BS. I've been a chevy guy all my life. No more. My next truck will be a tundra. Tundra SR base model is like $40k. Screw the big 3 and their junk made in mexico.
I have driven F150s for a long time. But I don't know about the new ones. Everything I have read is the big three all have serious issues with their new half ton pickups. Even the F150 with the 5.0L V8 is having problems. It seems if one has a 2013 to 2017 pickup with under 150,000 miles, one should just keep driving what you have. It seems quality has crashed out on the pickups since then.

I'm in no way shape or form a huge fan of stelantis but my rams have all been amazing! I've never had any major issues, but instead minor quirks that most OEMs have. The 345 hemi is an amazingly reliable engine if maintained properly.

Why is it that all I hear everyone care about vehicles is "reliability"? What does that even mean. There is more to vehicles than ONLY reliability (looks, top speed, horsepower, reliability, fuel economy, payload capacity, etc.) ALL of these should be considered at the same time.

I don’t really care what it looks like, I don’t really care about all the fancy options. All I want is something that does the work, and doesn’t die from doing the expected work. Generally this has meant buying 2500s over 1500s for me, but to each their own. I feel like the market is more interested in catering to soccer moms than people who need a machine for work, which doesn’t speak well for reliability, if that suddenly becomes less of a priority.
