    This theme song from "The Young and the Restless" is on p.40 of Alfred's Adult Greatest Hits Level 1. It was composed by Barry DeVorzon and Perry Botkin, Jr., in 1971 and originally titled "Cotton's Dream". Then in 1973 they did a different version for the soap opera theme. And in 1976, it was used by the gymnast Nadia Comaneci in the Summer Olympics and the song then became known as "Nadia's Theme". --Norma

    Great rendition! Funny, I'd never made the connection to Nadir Comaneci even though it's titled, "Nadia's Theme." Thank you for the history lesson as well as the music. Now, where's my Kleenex to go along with the sorrowful tune and gray morning?
