I remember my Dad showing me this video when I was about the same age as the girl in the vid. I felt inadequate because although I was playing this song, it was a simplified version, and I certainly wasn't playing any recitals! Now I'm removed from it enough to admire her talent instead of feeling jealous. Beautiful performance! :)

Dirk, I have listened to this more times than I can count, and spent hours transcribing from the video. I created a PDF that goes as far as bar 26 (about 1:56 in the video) but have been unable to get past that point. I would cheerfully pay for any old tattered copy of the sheet music, but I don't know which one to look for. Mr. Lorete mentioned Baumgartner but the front page of one Baumgartner I found did not include the right hand crossover in bar 3 at 0:42 in the video.

Who says it is arranged this way on the sheet music? These sound like self-added flourishes and secondary melodies that could be added to the regular piano piece. Commit the piece to memory and then fill out the base and symphonic parts if you are good enough to add them without becoming spaghetti fingered..

Yes, Comaneci. Romanian athlete. She did it perfect in Montreal 1976. The best in the olimpic games, with perfect peforming. I remember when she appeared in USA after days that she defected from Romania when Nicolae Ceausescu was in the power.
