This is a tutorial of the theme to the TV Soap Opera show, "The Young & The Restless", which originally was titled "Nadia's Theme". My mom used to watch this show every day when i was growing up. She'd record it on VHS. I used to do my Victor Newman impression and she always got a kick out of it.

I didn’t know this one and loved the intro story - wow written for the gymnast and the used for so long with the soap. I’ve not seen the program so I’d better try to see it…..haha lots to catch up on!!! Nice tutorial….I think you’ll have made lots of players very happy helping them to play it. Hi Ben, I don't know the soap and the theme, but it's a wonderful song 😀! (I looked for the german title and it was shown here on TV but I never saw it.) And it's another great tutorial 👍. I'm wondering sometimes how you can play such a great sound with so "easy" things (Music made easy 😉).

Yes! Though I'm not familiar with the soap opera you mentioned, I'm familiar with the main riff of this tune. The main riff of this music was also used by Mary J. Blige in her song, 'No More Drama'. There's just something about this riff that creates a somber and melancholic feel, and make us feel blue. Thanks for demonstrating to us how to play the main riff of this theme music. An awesome teaching session, Ben!
