It's a generic vtail mixer I got off eBay. You can get a turnigy branded on from hobbyking. I'm using a GT5 radio and there is no programing required with the mixer, just adjust trim and endpoints on the radio
Hi, the ESCs you are referring to (1/18 Sidewinder Micro 2 ESC, 12.6V, 2A Peak BEC) have been discontinued. Is there another one you can suggest with similar specs?
Hobbywing 18 amp 3s esc. They have decent BEC, programmable, 3s capacity and very smooth start up. BUT, they run only brushless whereas the SWM2 could run brushed as well. I wouldn't run more than a 1400kv on 2 or 3s tho.
I did attempt to do a custom AM32 flash with a Tekko F4 45a, I got everything soldered according to the guide but the cube programmer wouldn't detect the ST link. I know that there are differences with a genuine/clone versions but others I've asked seem to say that a cheap one off Amazon if fine. Any advice you could give?
That looks like an awesome upgrade! Well done. Let's see the running video!
Where did you get the MIXXER? What brand is it? How did you program it? What transmitter are you using? Any help would be awesome.

@@ryano8613 Would this work?
Hobby Wing EzRun-18A-SL Brushless ESC for 1/18 Car
@@cjprojects79I don’t see why not
great video. Do you think the plastic gears will hold up ?
Yes they do, this is a pretty mild brushless set up. Pretty much same as stock interns of speed but much better torque and low speed control
@@CRCG_00 thanks for the reply
What kv are those outrunners?
2200kv. They are on the slowly side for the blizzard with the stock gearing
Thank you.
Castle is loud overpriced crap.
Well, do you have any recommendations for anything cheaper with the equal/ better sensorless performance?
(Other than custom AM32 escs)
I'd always recommend doing the custom AM32 thing. For those not so skilled with soldering iron, there's AG Innovations Ninja.
