I did the mistake of getting magnite this year may, I face issue related to service. In Bangalore Nissan service is pathetic and not customer friendly. Nissan service center itself misses if we cross metro cities. RSA is very bad from Nissan side. Renault has bigger presence at least compared to nissan. Always choose brand with good service for peaceful driving please.
I chose kiger for renault service center in my city but the dealership closed their service nd showroom 3 months ago.... I was really disappointed Renault need to fasten up and compete in indian market in an agressive way.
I own a magine and my friend has kiger. I drove both and here is my verdict. Maginite: 1. Go for it only if you are buying Tekna variant. Interior is premium in Kiger for all other varients. 2. Strong Headlight for night visibility. Kiger 1. Better service than nissan. (I have pathetic experience with Nissan service centers. 2. Good space utilization compared to Magnite. 3. Price will be comparable as renault has good running offers which will come down to magnite price. 4. Renault has more cars in roadmap, which has more presence in INDIA. Try to put few more bucks and get turbo varient of any of the both cars you will enjoy it.
The Renault, for better boor space and storage options, is a must for long drives. Also, the top end has a 50 kg load bearing ski rack. In Mumbai Renault has more service points.
Kiger me kafi discount hai for sure. Getting the top end Kiger CVT at lesser price than the Magnite Turbo CVT N-Connecta (which is 3rd from top Techna Plus, Techna amd then N-Connecta) We just need to decide if NVH levels are worth 1 to 1.5 lakh extra.
