Hello again! I’m sorry for asking silly questions over n over xD I was wondering, how’d you get your drum to be less input laggy? whenever I hit my drum, it takes half a second for it to register in the game…
No worries at all!! In the settings of OpenTaiko when you open it, there’s a setting called “Buffered Input” that you could turn off! :)

how much did the taiko cost when you bought it and where can i buy it?
I’ve bought Taiko no Tatsujin: The Drum Master on PC via the Xbox App, Rhythm Festival on the Switch from the eShop, but OpenTaiko is free from Github, the skin however is unavailable to be downloaded as far as I’m aware

I’m also using the Hori drum! It’s just got some mods to make it more sensitive

how’d you get the drum to work on OpenTaiko? and how’d you get the game to look like that? I’m sorry for asking questions like this, i just got OpenTaiko and i’m a bit confused ;u;
You’re alright for asking! For the drum working, they say that it’s native but every time I’ve tried using it natively it acts weird so I just use Joy2Key so that I can also use the drum buttons. For the skin, unfortunately the creators aren’t allowing anyone to use it anymore out of copyright concerns from Namco so I was just fortunate to have the skin when I got it.
But as of now I stopped using OpenTaiko and just use a modded version of Taiko no Tatsujin: The Drum Master and just use OpenTaiko for the practice mode and the Dan Dojo

But yeah definitely look into modding The Drum Master, I have mine modded with native drum support and switch button layout with 1800 official songs from various other Taiko games! :D

As far as I’m aware, that skin is unavailable to be downloaded but it’s definitely still out there somewhere

This is a Nijiiro skin, unfortunately this skin is unable to be used out of copyright concerns. I personally do not use OpenTaiko now for this reason, and have been using a modded version of the official PC game, The Drum Master.
where download this skin ?
I don't believe this skin is avaliable for download now since the skin creator took it down for copyright concerns, but I got it from the Taiko Discord server that no longer exists
