This kind of music gives me a really unique feeling. Whenever my creativity is fogged up, I turn on Dzivia. Funny thing is, I still don't write anything. I just sit and listen, and it really helps with exploring the root of the issue. So, to anyone stuck writing because they want to make it all realistic, or grounded in some way, let the weight of what you're writing match up with your mind. Writing is a reflection of self, and it shows when you change that.

@@chloej1611 I'm quite certain it's "to the north". In most cases "until midnight" would be "da apoŭnačy", or "da paŭnočy", while "to the north" - "da poŭnačy" (exactly as in the text). It's possible to use the last variant meaning midnight theoretically, but it's rare exactly because we want to express the difference between the two.
As for sundial-theory, it doesn't sound very convincing to me, but there's no commonly accepted explanation AFAIK, so you still have a chance with yours :) The word came almost unchanged from Proto-Slavic, but association between night time, and north existed likely even before, because in Lithuanian (belongs to Baltic family, Slavic and Baltic diverged from common Balto-Slavic even farther back in time) word šiaurė can mean both "north", and "late evening" too.

I've had this on repeat since I heard it on Epic Music World. There's something primal, almost Ancient World about this. It invokes images of a ancient warrior shouting in the woodlands and forests. The whispers are the spirits talking to him or trying to. Feels like he has a lot of agony deep within, as if he pulling everything from the depths, which makes him stumble and hold on to the ageless trunks that surround him for strength.
