I was waiting to discover a new music like this: powerful, authentic, full of history and meaning, and absolutely, stunningly beautiful. It seems like youtube's algorithm can be useful once in a while... I'm a huge fan of bands/projects like Wardruna, Nightwish, Two Steps From Hell, not to mention I love traditional Slavic music and sounds/instruments. So I can already tell that Dzivia is going to join them among my absolute favorites.
It's just like a never ending state of bliss. ❤

@@fayrie_lynn I believe that's their group's logo. I'm not of Slavic origins, so take everything I say with a grain of salt, but honestly, it looks to me like Nordic runes. I have no idea why Nordic runes would go on a Slavic-centered music group's logo. It might in fact be a Slavic symbol, or it might actually be Nordic runes. I don't know.
I'm only familiar with Elder Futhark runes, so I'll just tell you what I see. At the top is Tiwaz, under which is Inguz. The two wing-like symbols are Ansuz. Then there's another Inguz under the "wings," another Inguz between the two dots, and a Naudhiz at the bottom.
I can't find any logic behind these runes. There might be meaning. It might just be a cool-looking symbol inspired by Nordic runes. Or it might actually be a Slavic symbol. I have no clue.

This soundscape makes me think of a burga in the Tunguska region and some Inuit or Varjag shamans dancing and chanting around the camp fire in some open cave.
Great stories like dune, lord of the rings, wheel of time has a certain level of immersion.
Sound plays so much into what is made. Every significant character has a theme sound, and it defines the story itself. adjusted to ups and downs of climax.
And everything you make fits into that sort of setting!
The level of detail, depth and individuality I felt on this piece, all i see is an exceptionally acted out character- that only music like this could complement and match and fully bring out.
Sadly I believe this level of creative understanding is slowly losing its value and being pushed aside by meaningless entertainment.
Man if i ever make anything small to midscale you'll be the first on my contact :)

Violin, piano, and a ton of electronic post-production are more natural sounding that Wardruna? This song doesn't even sound like neo-folk, it's "epic" music. The last three minutes are a bit better than the beginning.
