    I wish she would have had her own show as well. I would have really enjoyed watching more of her personality and talent. She is AMAZING!!!

      The woman was a doll of a person, I think she had a little wine while she paints, but more power to her

    She is the best instructor I have found on UA-cam! The way she explains how paint thickness and brush usage is excellent. I was getting frustrated when trying to create paintings, but her explanations showed me everything I was doing wrong. Thank You!

    This is great. I learned more from this one video than most videos of Bill Alexander and Bob Ross. She is the better teacher in my view.

    Bill had them both as students, and each was unique and gifted in their personalities. Wish she was still around (Bob too for that matter) I'd take a class from these two. They made painting come to life and fun. Nik Hankins seems to have a nack too, few have those kind of gifts.

    She was on Bill and Bobs shows. I love that she’s using a Bob Ross palette on Bills show. She obviously liked them both. Very talented lady. Much respect!

      Alexander Art sold those palettes before Bob Ross did. She did like them both however.

    Diane was a very talented artist. Watching this video, I noticed that she explains in the style of Bill, but her brush technique is definitely bob Ross. ( mountains and foreground)

    • @Handles-R-Lame
      @Handles-R-Lame 2 роки тому

      Bob learned from Bill. Bill was and is the original creator of this technique and wet on wet painting(also known traditionally as alla prima which has been around for centuries) Bill just popularized it for the American audience and such. Im fond of both and all artists as they all are very talented, as well as have pure geniune personalities. Which nowadays is a true rarity.

      Maybe we can. There are "open" acrylics that last 3 hours or more before drying. But we would need an equivalent to magic white

    She says pull the brush through the paint but doesn't mention the little squiggly motions she uses.. this gives you the chisel point on the brush. Bill showed this in his videos.
