Ehhh the Demon is set-up strictly for the drag strip though. It shines there no doubt. The GT350 is an all around beast of a car. Unless I was strictly drag racing I'd take the GT350. Especially since manual is more fun than auto.

Yes you can... E85, Injectors, Pulley, mid delete when he got that 9.3 (hellcat.org... Demon Forum). Check out SRTMush (Demon Owner's) UA-cam channel. He probably has more mods now because he is going for the 8's.

I may have missed it, but it appeared not a single pass by the Demon used its line lock. Thats a huge advantage at launch that they were missing.
It's not a huge advantage just makes burnout easier and doesn't burn up the breaks, the trans break is the important part of a good launch

There’s no way in heaven that that CTS-V that beat it is stock, the demon has a proven 0-60 of 2.1 and in this video it got like a 9.8 or 9.7 quarter. If something beats it, it’s not stock.

A drag race is usually won off the line with a few exceptions. Getting the car to "hook up" with the surface and not spin the rear tires is the critical part.
Demon had a quick leap ahead of that caddy and still lost....made us V owners damn proud..never even could show the times when demon got beat
