British Rail-Scunthorpe June 1989

A vid for a subscriber now, Scunthorpe. Back in 1989 it was a busy place with lots of freight trains passing and there was also a busy yard at the rear of the Up platform. In this vid we see three class 08's at work in the yard, even in 1989 that was quite something to behold! The passenger trains were in the hands off Sprinters (150 & 156) and the now soon-to-be-gone Pacers (144) while freight workings were in the hands of classes 08, 31, 37, 47 & 56 (all Romanian ones!).
