Sweetie, being sick doesn't mean "Oh, I can work now." Please rest and sleep. I'm hoping you have the flu and not Covid, but whatever, let your body be your guide. Glad you have the weighted blanket, those are awesome. Sending prayers and best wishes for your quick recovery.
Cory needs to be very careful, even with a negative result. I didn't show symptoms/test positive until 5 days after my bf tested positive. Rest up and stay hydrated! We love you all and hope you'll be okay.
@@Tina2448827 I understand that. I tested the day after my bf tested positive and came back negative on that test, started showing symptoms 4 days later and tested positive. This virus goes from family member to family member quickly, so be aware and be cautious.
@@septemberfullwood3782 - I would add, that if it were my family, I would test everyone again anyway, because as they are learning from tracking this virus over 10 months is that the majority of people are asymptomatic days before they show symptoms, & some Covid positive people never develop symptoms at all, but still can infect others. I’m just so sorry for Kristen, as I have developed sudden, chronic asthma in the last 4 months so I can sympathize. I’ll pray she gets through the course of this without feeling any worse than she does now, & that Cory & the kids stay healthy.
My husbands old job kept pressuring employees to come back into the office. My husband ended up being exposed to someone who was positive. Thankfully he tested negative..but his work ended up having 11 people test positive. Most of them went and initially had a rapid test done which told them they were negative. Then within 24-48 hours told them they were actually positive. I feel like they need to get rid of the rapid tests all together. I hope your family is safe and healthy and that you have a speedy recovery and get LOTS of rest. Take care. ❤️
Exactly Kristin, Cold air is more dense and has a higher oxygen content. It's good for you, may help with your comfort if your fevers get worse, AND if you have the windows open and a fan going, it will be flushing the air through your room and not giving the virus in your breaths a chance to build up and get circulated through the rest of the house. Wishing you the best sweetie.
This reminded me of an western movie where a doctor's wife was arguing with a ranch cook about opening the windows during a flu outbreak in the winter.
Be cautious with the rapid test. My grandson tested negative on a Monday(at his place of employment) He still wasn’t feeling well on Thursday and asked to be tested again(not rapid test) he was positive! His mom also tested positive. Thankfully they didn’t have severe cases, but felt lousy for 2 weeks. So lucky you have an entire living space to quarantine. Take care, the best thing is REST.

Yes, weighted blankets are great. It like getting a light hug that really helps getting a clam feeling. Some (at least the one I got) keeps in heat since it doesn't have any air flow but it can cause you to sweat. But look around. Hope you start feeling better.
Try to do some lung exercises. Deep breath in, hold for 5 seconds, let it out, do that two times and then on the 3rd time cough hard on the breath out. Do that all twice and then lay on your tummy for 5 -10 mins and cough when needed. I did this and it helped SO much!

Get well soon Kristen!!! This is perfect example that covid is so infections ..that even after so much precautions you are infected. Everybody please be safe....The Pandemic is still around
When I tested positive back in August I still had to work. I had no choice or I would have been fired from my job. My boss told me that if I was well enough to be able to phone him and tell him that I had Coronavurus then I was well enough to keep working. He told me that as he was already being really generous and allowing me to work from home already then I had to do my part and keep working. I got really sick. I couldn't breath, I had a really bad fever, food had not taste or smell, I was shaking a lot of the time. I had a permanent headache. Nothing that I did relived my symptoms. My boss kept making me attend video meetings so that meant that I had to force myself to get showered, put a suit on and do my hair and make up. The one meeting that I attended where I was wearing comfy clothes my boss lectured me on not being professional. Eventually my boss did fire me because I refused to go into the office to collect some work. He couldn't understand why I was refusing to interact with people. I now have a lawsuit in for unfair dismissal. I am now also fighting unfair eviction from my home for non payment of rent. I tell you Scotland is a horrible place to be while we are having the Pandemic. I have also been told that I wont be getting my Coronavirus vaccine until the end of March beginning of April 2022. So I have to wait over a year. Which is unfair as that means that I am not allowed to see my family at all this year. I know that I am one of the lucky ones that have managed to survive Coronavirus but I don't think that I can survive another year of being on house arrest and not being able to see my family and friends.
@@alwinkruijt8260 1. It's the UK the government in Westminster is a bunch of brainless heartless morons. 2. There's no evidence that getting Covid makes you long term immune to Covid.

What an awful, unempathetic human being. I hope you're successful in your lawsuit again your landlord and former employer.
I enjoy rewatching videos from this time period, so surreal. I got it in February, 2022 when everyone at work got it. Woke up achy and high fever. Tested positive. Took ivermectin, fever broke overnight, and I was just fine the next day. Never jabbed, never caught it again.

I remember when you moved into that house I was wondering if you'll ever use that kitchen in the near future. Good thing you have it! Get well soon, sending a hug 🧡

When me and the husband were quarantined we expected to get a bunch of housework done. The fatigue got the best of us for most of the duration though! Hope your days go by faster than mine did. I was ready to get back to work.

Dang, sounds really tough, I hope you get better real soon! You're a soldier for staying so positive too!
Also, I felt a bit warm when you explained how it felt similar to having ADD... having ADD, I felt understood when you said that. I wish more people would understand like you do (preferably without that involving any kind of harm or sickness of course).
Thinking and praying for your recovery Kristen! Thank goodness for your
“Gramma kitchen” separate from Cory, Chell and Atlas. What a way to get some
“MOMMY TIME” NOT! lol
The best part of all this, is the “reunification “ with you and your family, once you are better!
I can’t wait!
Until then, take care of YOU!!!

I had it back in March, and the cold air thing is true. My wife opened every window, got the air flowing and it felt so good! Hope you recover soon!

I hope you start feeling better soon, Kristen! Lots of love ❤
Just rest up and don't feel the need to get work done, focus on taking care of you right now.
I got a weighted blanket back in April and I could never go back. It helps so much! I hope you feel better as soon as possible. 💚
Kristen hope you make a full recovery soon!❤ Chell is so sweet.. and Cory is the best! 👍
I hope you feel better. I know when I had Covid I got an incentive spirometer to work on breathing exercises. Also drinking fluids and sleep. Rest on your stomach when you can to help expand your lungs. I hope your husband doesn’t test positive. He may want to consider getting tested again in about a week to be sure.
Not much of a vacation if you are sick. I hope you are feeling better soon. Just rest and take care of yourself.
Kristin, I hope you get better soon!! I know when I had Covid it was really hard to relax( I'm a mom of 3 boys). Im not so lucky that I could quarantine like you are. Im thankful that it wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be.
Your kiddos are so sweet!!
Cory you are doing awesome! Yall are amazing! Kristin idk if what all you have in your pharmacy, but I took Oscillococcinum ( 3 times a day), Zinc, Vitamin-C , one a day Vitamin, and I drank a lot of fluids!

Get well soon!
And i hope it is not too boring for you.
Amazing this happens in Europe! I would not like to work for your boss. When you had Covid, a vaccine wont help much. You are already immune.
@@alwinkruijt8260 1. It's the UK the government in Westminster is a bunch of brainless heartless morons.
2. There's no evidence that getting Covid makes you long term immune to Covid.
Wow. Your boss says he was already being "generous enough" by letting you work at home? That is not "generous" at all, especially if you have all of those symptoms, which makes it so hard to work! What an awful, unempathetic human being. I hope you're successful in your lawsuit again your landlord and former employer.
The wildest thing is the zero taste! Not even the "I'm sick so it all tastes like cardboard" but a nonexistent flavor!!
Oh no Kristen. Glad you are staying positive. Hope you feel better quickly!!!
I enjoy rewatching videos from this time period, so surreal. I got it in February, 2022 when everyone at work got it. Woke up achy and high fever. Tested positive. Took ivermectin, fever broke overnight, and I was just fine the next day. Never jabbed, never caught it again.
praying for a full recovery
Stay strong stay positive continued prayers Kristen we love you remember that you will get through it stay strong and positive
Hope you feel better Kristin. So sweet your children are so kind and amazing. Your family is amazing and my family and I are praying for your rapid recovery 🙏
Oh no! Hope you are going to be well through this! My sister had it after Christmas for four days and she only lost her sense of smell. And about 5 months pregnat. She is recovered and doing well now.
