Just ordered some. Thanks for the update and product!
Awesome! Thank you!
Hey JD how are you liking your firehouse strobe? Did you get the Arc V Pro with remote? I'm curious, how are you liking the function of the remote? Been thinking of getting the Arc V Pro with remote or just go with the mini pro without remote. Would appreciate your input, thanks
The updated units are working great! The remote makes operation much quicker. It's a matter of choice between with or without the remote. I would try one!@@nikkoarnado6521
The new strobe lights look good, I like the remote. Thanks for sharing.
You bet! The new Pro strobes are their best yet!
Hey Ronald, how are you liking the function of the remote? Been thinking of getting the Arc V Pro with remote or the smaller, lighter, and brighter mini pro version instead
Fantastic video and comparison as usual Ryan.
Thanks Nick!
I just picked one up and love it, except the remote times out on long flights and disconnects. It’s super annoying.
The strobe light stops accepting input after it hasn't received a remote signal for around 10minutes. I too wish signal reception stayed on while the strobe light is on. I will forward the comments on to Firehouse Technology, they are constantly tweaking things.
Have they finally switched from Micro-USB to USB-C? Only thing that has kept me from purchasing their product.
No but a micro USB cable is included. Speaking with the owner at Firehouse Technology there would be a significant cost increase for redoing everything to USB-C and it won't happen any time soon. If you want the best, you might as well get on board now.
@@AerialPixel it's just about 2024 and no USB-C? micro USB is holding me back too
Nope. Just ordered and received mine. Still no usb-c.
@@AerialPixel everything in my drone case uses USB-C. It’s not worth adding an additional cable (one that is an older standard than USB-C) just to add a strobe or light. I will use the competition until they get with the times. I keep checking back from time to time to see if they have upgraded.
@@msbullock10101 they announced a couple weeks ago that the next batch of strobes coming is USB-C. They should be available soon.
What about daylight test?
I'm confused. In the video, you say the new Micro Pro is the brightest LED strobe on the market today, but in the details it is written that the Arc V is the brightest. Which is the brightest?
The Micro Pro is brighter than the ARC V. The ARC V has (5) 3 watt LED's for 15 combined watts of output. The Micro Pro has (3) 10 watt LED's for 30 combined watts of output. Right now the Micro Pro is the brightest strobe light Firehouse Technology offers.
Also, please relay to Firehouse that their website for the strobe section is a hot mess. They childishly mixed up their own strobe models in the image sections for both the Arc V Pro and the Micro Pro. This is a huge deal because people could very easily be confused about which image is representing what model in this way.
I have visited your website as well and it looks beutiful for the clutter free choice of simple one picture demo for each of the new strobes.
Thank you! I talk to Firehouse almost daily, I will let them know your concerns. Fly safe!
Is a multicolor micro pro with or without remote coming anytime soon?
I haven't heard, next time I talk to them I will ask.
When filming at night do the strobe light affect the shot
Under normal conditions you can't see the light from the strobes when mounted to the arms. There are 3 scenarios that you may be able to see it in your images:
1. During mist and fog conditions - The strobe light can reflect off the water droplets in the air.
2. If you are close to your subject, it's like shining a flashlight on your subject.
3. If your props are in view (usually not a problem DJI's current drones) - If your props are in view the light can reflect off the bottom of the props.
We sell thousands of strobe mounts every year for a variety of drone models and strobe light combinations and haven't had any issues.
Hope that helps!
hello is there a top mount available now for the Arc V Pro or Mini?
All of our top mounts for the Firehouse Micro strobes also fit the Micro Pro, they are the same physical size. We have added options to all our ARC V mounts to also have an ARC V Pro option, since the ARC V Pro is slightly bigger.
Can I control this with my flight controller? (H743)
No, there is a physical button that needs pressed to turn on / off and change strobing modes.
Do those remote controlled strobes work for a DJ mavic 3 pro ? Can you send me link to order and for mounts as well? Thanks 🙏🏻
Yes we have ARC V Pro mounts for the Mavic 3 here bit.ly/mavic3strobe
Be sure to select the ARC V Pro option.
Hello! I am in the market for purchasing strobes for an Air 3. Thinking the new Firehouse Arc V Pro and Micro Pro are the ones I will be getting. What do you recommend in terms of fitting out an Air 3? Is it overkill to get 2 front, 2 rear, top, and bottom? LOL Lastly, does the Arc V Pro remote also work with the Micro Pro?
The FAA requires 360 degrees of visibility so 1 on top or 1 front arm and 1 back arm will meet this requirement. If you want to add more for increased visibility you can, The drone can handle it.
The remote only works with the ARC V Pro.
Hope that helps.
@AerialPixel great that does help thank you. If i got multiple Arc V pros can they all work with the same remote?
Yes you can use one remote to control multiple strobes. Since they are line of site to the remote, make sure you can see all the strobes at the same time or you might not get them all turned on or off or change the flashing mode, then it can get a little squirrely to get them synchronized again. You can also turn on and off and change flashing modes using the button on the strobe light too.
What battery does the Remote run on? How to replace it once depleted fully?
It runs on a button battery, just separate the two halves of the case to replace it.
@@AerialPixel Thanks a lot!
Doesn't this light reduce flight time?
The bigger ARC V weighs around 15grams, you won't notice any decrease in flight time with that little amount of weight added, especially on larger drones like the Mavic 3 and Air 3. The Mini's you may have a slightly lower flight time but very little, like 2 to 3 percent less. The lights also have their own battery so it's not drawing from the drones flight pack.
I just received mine and the remote does not work.....
Reach out to Firehouse or whoever you purchased it from, they should be able to help you out.
"Significant cost for USB-C"?
The customers are paying for it, not the manufacturer.
They would have to redesign their boards and their injection molded parts to accommodate the larger USB-C port, this isn't a cheap process for a small business like Firehouse. Don't worry though, Firehouse announced last week the will be converting everything to USB-C anyway. There were enough requests that they decided to do it.
Get some rbw in stock. I cant buy if u aint got em
These sell out fast because of their popularity, we received a shipment of white Micro Pro's today. If we don't have what you need you can also purchase directly from Firehouse Technology, they also sell some of our mounts (look for our logo on their product images).
Im curious how much yours weigh. The box says 4 grams, but I just psted a video showing that the 2 that i received weigh 13 and 14 grams without the adhesive or velcro.
ua-cam.com/video/WRZztb7evrc/v-deo.htmlsi=fJqJzgtS0L0mg7FE
Yeah, they have a misprint on the box, it should read 14grams not 4. The standard ARC V is 13g and the ARC V Pro is 14g.
Those strobes are to big for that drone especially how you have them installed 😩
I'll wait until the usb-c version comes out.
My understanding they should be out within the next couple weeks. I believe Firehouse was starting USB-C on the Standard ARC V first though.
@@AerialPixel thanks for the information.
