- Join us as we visit Cotswold Wildlife Park & Gardens for the very first time a week before theme and amusement parks can reopen in England on the 4th July 2020
We booked online before our visit and payed just £14.40 each and had a good few hours walking around seeing the animals and gardens at this lovely kept Wildlife Park on a very busy and windy day
During the visit I cover as much as possible showing what the park has done to help with the current COVID-19 pandemic and see what social distancing measures have been put in place, as expected the indoor exhibits, miniature train and children’s playground were closed

Been there yesterday. It was AMAZING! Although social distancing didn't seem to exist? Great food, Great animals, Great employees and also a great price! 9.5/10 from me.

This is brilliant and one of the male giraffes called Century used to live at Longleat before he was moved to Colchester Zoo and then to Cotswold Wildlife Park. The Crocodile place is called Crocodiles of the World

Agree with this Andy. We went today, as it's not far from us in Cheltenham, but must admit that social distancing was pretty much non existent. We only stayed a few hours as couldn't get anywhere near the enclosures due to crowds.
Was the same for us unfortunately, we will be back when things get back to normal
We are on a holiday in Chipping Campden and we came here yesterday but on Sunday we were sitting on a bench in Cheltenham when these teen girls ran passed us and hugged each other! They were very closed to us and they nearly fell on us so my mum told them to go away and one of them rolled their eyes at her! (This is actually a 10 year old speaking!)
Hi Andy and Lisa ! It looks to me like there is no structure to the social distancing. They really should have staff guiding people to each animal area's a few at a time . I feel for the parks with the way the government have decided to change the distancing rules. Like you say they have to change it all now . I really do think we are opening up to early though. Looks like a well managed little minizoo for a relaxing day out. And yeah, almost no one here in Sweden cares about social distancing either sadly.
I've visited and filmed a video here recently, never been here myself too! A nice day out for the money, great video, looking forward to more especially with the theme parks opening again.
I experienced something similiar with the social distancing, unfortunately using common sense and keeping two metres doesn't seem to be on most people's minds. I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks so!
We went on Saturday and people were acting so crazy there. I saw one woman leaning into the meerkat enclosure to stroke them and a man lowering his child into the penguin enclosure....
OMG that’s really bad, tbh we didn’t see many staff about
Laura Farr in the nearby Crocodile Zoo in Brize Norton, despite signs saying everywhere to not have children on your shoulders (there's a network of bridges over enclosure), one stupid father had his toddler on his shoulders standing pretty much over the *saltwater crocodile* enclosure. I tell you one thing, that man does not deserve to be a father if he is going to act like that.

It is still 2 metres unless it is isn't possible then 1 metre is acceptable. Think people will totally bypass that fact though. Patience was definitely the key when we went 😂 I think it's a learning curve for all these places to find out how best to deal with the social distancing as this is going to be in place for a good while yet.

£3.80 for a sausage roll is not cheap. Get ready for chaos when theme parks open. Public have given up on the 2m rule and the covid fear has ended. Best to stay home for a few more weeks.

myfanw yeah we will definitely be back again too, we missed loads out because it was busy and we couldn’t get close to things, the train layout looks great plus I wanna see the Bats
@@Coaster_Crazy do you have the same problem as me when seeing bat's that you start to hear the batman theme of the old cartoons in your head? 😅 It looks a nice well maintained little zoo. Just not worth 16 quid if the train and other stuff are closed.
Well this is the trouble about social distancing, now Boris has told everybody to use common sense and unfortunately not many people have that nowadays

A bit of a mixed review im not sure if you both liked it or you didnt ?, i think if everyone is learning socail distance measures its like when shawn went chester zoo , maybe they should of put more markers down or capped people coming into the park

Nice park but not very well run, in my experience even before covid 19 they've never been very well organised. Cotswold farm park is much nicer to visit, especially at the moment.
Yah, peacocks can flutter up to high surfaces. I just learned that recently during a recent park trip while I was tailing one to get a photo.

Just wanted to drop you a line sir.. I don’t agree with any abuse towards kids I will say so. Even if that upsets your “friends”. I don’t believe people who have that view are trolls. If I was you to keep your good name I would distance yourself from people who think it’s ok to harass kids or anyone for that matter
