    Thanks for the "tour" of the cave, Doug. Really enjoyed watching the formation of the cave and the many Buddha images there. Great work!
    (Edit) : Oh, and the photos and the background (guitar) music is just a perfect way to end this video. It is a nice way to end the whole video experience and to recap this episode. The interval between each photo is just nice (long enough) for me to appreciate the details on each of them. I did missed out a few details on the video until i saw the photos at the end.

      Thank you, Chris. I'm glad you enjoyed the photo montage at the end. I guess that is one of the benefits of using a "real" camera as opposed to a GoPro for shooting video. You end up feeling more interested in taking pictures. It's possible to take pictures with a GoPro, but it obviously wasn't made to do that. But the Panasonic G85 is different, and I took a lot of pictures of the interior of the cave while I was shooting the video. And since I had all these pictures, I thought I might as well add them to the video.
      It's interesting that you mentioned seeing details in the photos that you missed in the video. The same thing happens for me when I'm taking pictures. If I have a camera in my hand while I'm walking around, I end up looking around more and seeing more. The camera kind of helps focus your attention. I've missed that feeling since I switched from taking pictures to mainly shooting video.

    Did you ever visit the Batu caves in KL?

    • @PlanetDoug
      @PlanetDoug  2 роки тому +1

      Yes, I went there three or four times while I was hanging out in Kuala Lumpur. The Batu Caves are just so easy to get to by MRT when you are in KL. I think I shot video on two of my visits. The first video I shot was on my first visit. And then I shot some video a second time when I returned for the big Thaipusam Festival. This is the video from Thaipusam:

      @@PlanetDoug its called KTM Commuter train. Not MRT :)

    • @PlanetDoug
      @PlanetDoug  2 роки тому +1

      @fabian chan Even when I was writing the comment, I knew it wasn't the MRT. I knew it had a different name. But it was so long ago now that I couldn't remember what it was. And I was too tired to look it up. 😀
      But now you reminded me, I remember the clear difference between the KTM Commuter lines and the MRT lines. Hopping between them was a big part of the time I spent in Kuala Lumpur.
