Hey i jus wanna say thank you guys. You have no idea what ive been through with cars 😂. I now have a 1997 Nissan altima and the throwout bearing went out. I wasn’t planning on replacing it but you guys have been so committed it wore off on me. I replaced the pressure plate the clutch plate and the pilot bearing all with the help of a buddy. Mind you ive never done any engine work like that and had it run successfully. The car runs now so ill be posting vids of its transformation. Once again thank you guys keep on rebuilding 🙏🙏🙏.

Here's a good tip. When laying the plastic down with tape, take a piece of tape over top, and peel half of it back to expose some of the sticky side of the tape. It'll allow the paint to flow under that just a little and prevent having a hard paint edge when you remove the tape.

Guys, I have been watching since the Hellcat build. And while everyone here comments on your mechanical and body work prowess, I would like to take a minute and compliment you on your video editing skills. The fast edits and quick cuts make for an interesting video. Not too drawn out on the length each project takes and just long enough to hit all of the important steps you are taking in the process. You guys should do a live Q and A with your viewers, kind of like the Diesel Brothers do on Motor Trend TV. Let the fans get to know you and your background a little bit. I personally am blown away at your skill levels as young as you both seem to be. Your parents definitely raised you to be independent and motivated to succeed, so kudos to them as well. Keep up the good work and I will definitely always be a subscriber to your channel.

I think a drop down curtain right in the middle would be awesome because it would allow you guys to paint in the shop!! Just like the plastic you used but a little bit more permanent! It would look great!!!

Greetings from Ukraine. Watching your videos, giving a second life to cars. In that year, I also bought from you at the Ford Fusion auction after an accident. I wanted to give you this advice. I do not know what materials you have. Well, you break the technology, first you need to cover the bare metal with acidic primer, then with acrylic and then putty or epoxy primer and putty is an ideal recovery technology, you can immediately put epoxy primer and putty, as the putty will let the water quickly begin to rust and corrode. As a result, the repair site will crack. Good luck in your future projects.

Do a new painting section where you can repaint the cars or maybe you could do an underground parking garage underneath where you rebuild the car.

Wonder if in the future they will open up their shop as a business where people can get their cars rebuilt by them which would give them more cars to work on and film it and people like us can come and get our wrecked cars rebuilt by them

You guys did a good job but you should have pulled out the body plugs
406 nova leads straight to the interior, rather paint the plugs then get overspray inside
So you stick foam tape in each one. Don’t paint the plugs
I gotta agree. On a build where you have literally spent several thousand extra dollars to keep everything OEM, little details like painting over body plugs instead of removing them and masking the holes does make a difference.
BUT, I have said this before. You guys are learning more and more every build. It's such a minor detail, but it is the difference between "Almost OEM", and "OEM".
At the end of the day. They aren’t professionals yet. From a professional stand point I can appreciate the the passion they have and the one brother really is a true talent and is learning everyday. It’s tough love because I want to see you be great at everything you all do. The other brother is amazing at editing. Both very great talents. But yea just remove the plugs next time 🤪
goonzquad but good news. You can pull them off and soak them in a cup of thinner and the blue paint will come right off.

This furnace is a beast. Make sure to reflect the heat from nearby surfaces. And if it's not already statutory: let a chimney sweeper have a look at it. You really don't wanna mess with such a thing.

Looks great guys run a cable across your shop put some tarps with eyelets on them and all you have to do is pull it across whenever you want to paint
Gosh dangit y u no listen? Moisture is going to reach the backside of the body filler through those swiss cheese welds and hit the bare metal. Rust bubbles in T-minus 1 year I'm crying inside

@@goonzquad last video I commented "If the back sides of the welds aren't easily accessible to properly seam seal, use a fiberglass body filler as a moistureproof barrier before the lightweight filler. Put a nice dab of putty in with the lightweight filler before adding the hardener for a creamy smooth consistency. Also, store your cans of filler upside down so you don't need to dig out the bottom when stirring it. Cheers"

With all the attention to detail, why not remove the rubber plugs from the rocker before priming and painting? I know it'll eventually be covered up but geez.

Oh stop giving them a hard time, it doesn't matter if they are black or blue, wouldn't be worth the time it takes to pull them out anyway, a little paint isn't going to hurt them.
@@552010BHS pull the plugs, corrosion protection (wax) needs to be sprayed under weld area.
Looks great! Try to roll you primer tape / paper lines! Those hard tape lines when you prime up to them can show up in your paint even after much sanding! Keep up the good work
