@@esthersiersemaactually using the thaw setting still warms the food - it just cuts the power down lower so it doesn't "cook" it as fast. I have thawed ground meats in the microwave and like 5lbs of frozen ground beef takes about 30 minutes to "mostly" thaw, but it's usually still frozen in the center while the outside is browned ... So... yeah.

Yeah, if your nato is frozen or cold it's recommended to microwave it for a few seconds to warm it. 😅

Our microwave have a defreez modus maybe she used that? Than it does not get warm
