I didn’t compare the vibrato settings because the chicken salad doesn’t have a vibrato setting without modding the pedal. But I can make a video comparing those next Saturday.
@@googaboogaloo I think his point was that you set the Jimi on Vibe, but the Mosky was set to Chorus....? On the other hand, these are, what, $35 each? They don't sound too bad.
Turn the speed down to Hendrix Trower timing please way to fast. I have the Jimi Nova had the Shaky Jimi the speed control on the Jimi nova is a little off no matter what speed time you use. The shaky Jimi was great but seemed to enhance the highs to much. I'm sort of digging the Mosky has extra chewiness to spare going on. My prescription electronics takes them all, but it cost 10 times as much.
@@mitchellassis I like the shaky Jimi, but any cheap vibe pedal has this annoying sharp peak in the mix that I never can seem to get out. I can turn the tone knob down bit it never seems to go away. My Bob Sweet Prescription electronics is my main vibe, but also expensive. For cheap vibe i like the DanElectro Cool cat Vibe unit, it has a mix knob. Two problems are with this pedal is 1. It has a two second delay after switching. 2. It has a significant volume boost when switched in.
Obrigado pelo review, mas você fez todo o video com o mosky na chave chorus e os outros sendo vibe... só no fim colocou o mosky no vibe... aí fica difícil comparar...
So the mosky ch vibe is labeled backwards. Vibe is chorus and chorus is vibe. It’s frustrating. I think when mosky made the ch vibe they thought vibe was vibrato and chorus was the univibe sound.
Id love a comparison if you mod them all. I just heat-shrinked the LEDs in my Jimi and it's excellent now. You can just surround them in electrical tape, too.
Funny but I started that mod in 2009 on I think harmony central when Moen came out with the first version of the Shaky Jimi.. Did the same with my Dan Electro Cool Cat Vibe and Jimi Nova pedal. Haven't done it on my Mosky yet. Out of the four I like the Dano and Mosky best, smoother sound not as harsh and more precise speed control. But my #1 is my Prescription Electronics Vibe, but it takes 12v and is four times larger and four times more expensive.. People at a bar on a Friday night will never know the difference anyway.. I think your Mosky has a bad switch mine doesn't do that.
@@bigstick5278 nice I love my 12 and 18v pedals, they really bring out certain pickups. I'd like to hear the EH Eddy as well, it has an expression input, too.
I was comparing the tones of these not speeds. I have another video on my channel that has slower settings. For some reason this one got way more attention on UA-cam.
The Ch-vibe was on Chorus the whole time... How does it compare when on the Vibrato setting?

@@18-tube-wattamp64 yeah the Moen is labeled backwards. I made a demo on the vibrato setting too and the jimi nova is set on chorus on that.

I was just trying to do a quick general comparison. I can do another video next week trying to do a Hendrix thing with different settings.
Jimi Nova or Shaky Jimi? What is the best?
You just wanted everybody to know you own a Prescription electronics, I see.

Cool! Thank you very much, I ended up buying the pedal from NUX Vibe and by the way it is excellent. Hugs, I'm from Brazil.

the Mosky seems to change the tone a LOT.
because it 's on the chorus input not vibe....

danelectro wins. it preserves the tone of the guitar better and has a sweet attack
I plugged these into my new amp (also I adjusted the trim pot in the salad) and it changed my mind completely on the chicken salad. It sounds amazing
100% agreed!
Had the nova but still have the Chicken salad...😉
Dan.
yet another univibe demo video where the rate stays at 100% the whole time. useless.

NONE of them sound like a univibe.
@@stratrat57 for the price I paid it’s close enough. Cheapest actual univibe is probably $150. At least the Dano is bulb driven.
Gosh what a terrible review
I know right! Ha can’t even afford a real microphone
