Totally legit vibe, no doubt. I have a Roger Mayer Voodoo Vibe, and this little Danelectro Chicken Salad holds its ground, with only the two knobs to adjust. Paid $19 each for this, a French Toast octave fuzz, a Hash Browns Flanger, and Pepperoni Phaser. Again, I have the more expensive and more well-known versions of these (Prescription Electronics Experience, MXR Phase 90, MXR & Maxon flangers). The tiny Danelectros are stunning for the prices I paid. Lastly, do not dare to use a 9-volt battery in the Chicken Salad. In the less than 2 minutes of use you will have, you might think the pedal is broke.😂 Adapter use only!!! On the other hand, I still have at least two of the Danelectro batteries that came in the other pedals over 20 years ago, and they STILL have juice.
It sounds good; about $40 good. It doesn't sound $112 + s/h good to me, but that's how much it's going for now, because Just Had to Say posted an article about it.
