The Wayans family as a whole have the best screams. It's the perfect scared woman scream
Yes right up there with Merves spider scream
yeah marlon has a great scream 😉
He had an even better one when the woman with cramps nearly tore him apart in "I'm gonna git u sucka"
@@codyclaeys2008 OMG that one always cracks me up, especially since that scream is real due to the actor having a real fear of spiders lmfao.
Never thought of it like that, but you're so right 🤣
The little engine that could bedtime story gets me everytime😂
Toot toot! 🤣
Very underrated comedy movie
Every single time!
Payne........I can't feel my legs
@@fighterx9840 bubba…. They ain’t there😂😂
Full Nelson. “What’s your angle boy, you plottin’ on me!”🤣🤣🤣🤣
Highly underrated movie! It's a great family flick 😊
ikr! to you both.
Normally I would’ve chewed you out lol 😂 because the word “underrated” is overused and thrown around too much. But yes, you’re right. This was a very underrated movie
Fun fact, the Cadet named "Dwight, but my boys call me D" is Daman Wayans (Major Payne) real life nephew.
Kool.
@@witcheshour9718WELL HE IS NOT HIS DAMN BROTHER
“i am not your damn brother “
nope he’s the kids uncle (in real life)
My dad was a Marine and he was so obsessed with this movie that he made my sisters and I watch it with him every damn day for months. I have memorized the whole thing😂
My dad was a Major in the Marine Corps when this came out, so we found it exceptionally hilarious.
You too? I learned how to cuss from watching thus movie
@@pontiacGXPfan 😂
"If he's still in there, he ain't happy..." 😂😂😂
Whats Yo Angle Boy? 🤔
Are You Plottin On Me
I remember this movie on USA Channel back in the late 90s with my grandfather! I had already seen the movie before that but my grandfather was laughing so hard at this film because it was his first time seeing it! That was the greatest movie night for us out of all the movie nights we've had together. My grandfather passed away 14 years ago but every time I watch this classic it reminds me of him! Great review octokrool 👍🏿
I have a similar memory with my grandfather. But the movie we watched together was O Brother Where Art Thou.
@@117rebel my grandfather loved that movie too! I have to watch that one again!
Aww ♥
My dad passed away last year. He was Major Payne. He did 30+yrs and was a Drill Sgt. This was one of our go to movies. I remember his laugh. I miss him everyday. This just brought back great memories. Thanks guys.
My condolences 💐
I love that as much as Payne hates Stone. Never hits him, and actually protects him by putting himself in front of him, because of Stone's Step Father.
Payne never hated Stone. He was annoyed at his disobedience, likely angry at his lack of respect, but cared about "his men".
As a US Marine myself I love this movie. Major Payne is a perfect Marine archetype and I can say that we do have to earn our hair in boot and the Drill Instructors say the same outlandish shit that Payne did to us .
The thing that gets me is when he stands up for the kid against his father. The thing about Drill Instructors is, they're not mean for the sake of it, they're mean with a purpose. They can talk to you like that, but at the end of the day you're their recruit and they do care about you, even if like Major Payne they have odd ways of showing it to the uninitiated. To this day I love my Drill Instructors like my own parents.
Fun fact: the director of this movie played the original Michael Myers in 1978,and replayed the role in some scenes of the new halloween movies.
AWSOME never knew that😀
The Shape......WOW, BRILLIANT FACT
And John Carpenter used Nick Castle's name for Tom Atkins' character in The Fog.
He also directed Dennis the Menace
The scene where he is going crazy in his apartment is a reference to Apocalypse Now; a Vietnam movie. Also, while it is mainly a comedy and shouldn't be taken too seriously, I particularly like the scene where he protects stone from his step dad. It's the first time he doesn't refer to him in a derogatory manner and even seems extremely protective of him. You could go far enough to argue Payne likely was a victim of parental abuse growing up so this triggered a protective instinct in him and I just love it. He even goes as far as to refer to stone in a softer way at the end: "go on back to your bunk, son". It'd also explain why the major doesn't respond well to affection.
And really the whole training parts to me was like Full Metal Jacket but for kids which it pretty much is
@@deadmanwalking8740 well when doing a military movie, it's pretty much impossible to be original
Have they seen Apocalypse Now??? That should be their Next Reaction!!!!!!!!
@@desmondpowell3205 while I agree it's a decent flick, it's not exactly that exciting imo. I'd be more excited if they reacted to platoon. Prolly a more accurate Vietnam movie anyways.
@@illam9500 oh yeah I wasn’t saying that in a negative sense I just always saw it that way and it adds to the hilarity. And the references to Apocalypse Now
Payne is, of course, an over-the-top caricature, but as a veteran who now lives and works in a world surrounded by people who never served a day in their lives, watching this movie always makes me feel better about myself. For just a little while, it makes me feel OK to be me in a world where I'm surrounded by people who don't get me.
We salute you for your service to our country. Some of us do understand
I too am a veteran. I have dreams often about being back in service. Last night even.
I should have stayed in. I functioned better in that environment.
@@xenxander they are going kick you out eventually unless you go political. Just have some faith in us civilians. You will run across some people who will respect your sacrifice even though they don't know it. You ain't alone bro
@@xenxander It took me 15 years before I realized that I never should have left, and by then, I was too old and out of shape to go back in. It was my first real job, and I took the things like top-notch healthcare for granted. It was almost 20 years after I got out before I was able to get another job that actually offered a medical plan, and 20 years of NOT doing PT every morning had taken its toll. And I also took for granted the comradarie there was in the military. Dumb old me, I just assumed that every job I did, I would be surrounded by people who were just like me and who I was going to be great friends with. HA! And, of course, just the realization that you have a job where you can actually make a difference in the world instead of the bullshit jobs there are in the civilian sector... Yeah, never should have left. I hear you, brother...
58 year old Army Cold War era Veteran here, know what you mean, but I always feel good for being me. If the civies don’t like me, zero F’s given.
People think I’m antisocial, my daughter loves telling them, “my Dad isn’t antisocial he just doesn’t like PEOPLE.” 🤣
This is such an underrated movie. Always makes me laugh 😂
IMO Damon is the funniest Wayans bros.
"White on rice, in a glass of milk, on a paper plate in a snowstorm!"

It is such an underrated word!
@@robbob5302 don’t know what you mean 🤷♂️
My family and I will literally recite this movie every time we watch it lol, drives my grandma crazy
I was today year's old when I realized Major Payne had PTSD. Bruh, homie had it rough. What would Payne be like in therapy?
I GOTTA learn to open canned sodas like that.
14:40 I'm surprised nobody mentioned that that was the WWF wrestler Bam Bam Bigelow
Here's a list of some comedies:
1. Drop Dead Gorgeous
2. Low Down Dirty Shame (The oldest Wayans brother is the male lead)
3. The Five Heartbeats (more of a drama-comedy and the best depiction of a singing group ever made)
4. The Best Man
5. Overboard
Add:
Blankman
Senseless with Marlon and David Spade
Also the Sixth Man
But definitely a Low Down Dirty Shame!!
Low down dirty shame is so good! Ridiculously stupidly funny.... back when Jada was decent. 😆 🤭
Drop dead gorgeous is so good.
Oh man I would LOVE for them to react to Drop Dead Gorgeous, one of my favorite comedies. It is SO underrated and just hilarious, everyone is so funny and brings there comedic chops! I've also always loved that it's a dark comedy.
@@momD612 Oh please. Jada is a phenomenal actress, she just got blacklisted around 2011 along with Edward Norton and many other celebs for actually being human, and not bending over, sometimes literally, for every produce. Some people aren't cut out for Hollywood, they are just too real. Jada can do comedy and drama. When you see celebs disappear it's because they have been blacklisted for upsetting a high up producer. She still works btw!
This is probably the most underrated comedy of all time. It is absolutely hilarious and not enough people know about it.
Rip....
Bam Bam Bigelow
And Orlando Brown's sanity
Hilarious movie, we need more Major Paynes in this world disciplining kids
Got that right!
There are more than enough people already teaching children how to be bullies.
Yes, very underrated movie
Yea they out of control now. Smh
Anyone of these would be great for next time:
-A Low Down Dirty Shame (another Wayans movie)
-Pootie Tang (Underrated Chris Rock movie)
-Ali G In Da House (Sqacha Baron Cohen's first film)
-Dogma (hilarious!!)
-The Constant Gardner
-Sugar & Spice (best cheerleader movie ever)
-Showdown in Little Tokyo (Brandon Lee and Dolph Lundgren)
-Lazer Mission (Brandon Lee)
-Insructions Not Included (if you want a lighthearted comedy that may make you cry)
-The Man From U.NC.L.E (Henry Cavill, Armie Hammer, Hugh Grant)
-Schindler's List (possibly the most violent movie you'll see on your channel)
-To Wong foo, thanks for everything Julie newmar
-Mo Better Blues
-Who Framed Roger Rabbit
-Cats Don't Dance
-All Dogs Go To Heaven
-Josie & The Pussycats (movie)
-not another teen movie (lol that's the actual title)
-baby boy
-holiday heart
-the net
-the wayans brothers (show)
Yes to A Low Down Dirty Shame and Schindler’s List
Add rush hour as well
@@salvambala7779 Chris said they've seen those already.
@@RocketRoketto damn fr, it would have been so funny to watch with them
my dad was a drill instructor for 10+ years in the army all my friends growing up called him major payne lmfao 😂 🤣 such a classic movie one of my favorites
"You think Charlie care anything about slippery?!?" LOL
😂"Nothing like searing another man's face on a barbecue."😂
As a Marine, this is required watching for the family.
The actress playing the councilor had a starring role in Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. The red head is also in the American Pie films. The actor playing Tiger had a starring role in That's So Raven
Yeah, Karyn Parsons was known for playing Hillary Banks on fresh prince
The actor who plays Stone's step-dad was Michael Ironside, who had roles in Total Recall, the original Top Gun, Free Willy, and was Colonel Rasczak (pronounced Rad-chek) in Starship Troopers.
And he somewhat resembles Jack Nicholson.
This movie & the Bad News Bears( the 1976 version) has some of the best roasting of kids in any other movies I've seen
Stone's father was played by Michael Ironside, goodactor. He was in many movies, for example Starship troopers
And he's the voice of Sam Fisher from the Splinter Cell games.
Oooh Scanners! First movie I ever saw with any gore. I was about 10.
He was also in total recall. He was Sharon Stone’s actual husband in the movie.
I saw this movie in a theater when it dropped. It makes me laugh to this day 💪🏾
I’m laughing like I haven’t seen this movie 100 times😂😂😂😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣
I can quote this movie from beginning to end... I love this movie... "Toot, Toot."
This movie has one of those jokes I will NEVER forget for as long as I live.
*Man writhing in pain from a gunshot wound*
Major Payne: Want me to take your mind off that pain?
*BREAKS HIS FINGER*
This
My favorite part is when he introduces himself to the squad for the first time and the one young black kid starts laughing calling him his brother, if he comes up to him and yells at I am not your damn brother. I'm pretty sure that is actually his youngest brother in real life, one of the Wayans brothers
It's his nephew. The youngest brother is Marlon. The nephew was also in Malibu's Most Wanted.
@@simplyjuannie5128 you are totally correct I think he's the son of the oldest sister Elvira I believe, I do know that his name is Damien Dante Wayans. Such an amazing talented family even Damon Wayans Jr is now making a name for himself in Hollywood on the new girl, and Brooklyn Nine-Nine. But I will always remember above all else homie the Clown, Damon senior was the most hilarious part of In Living Color cuz Homie don't play that
@@anthonyflinn3305 I loved the Homie the Clown sketches. Me and my cousins use to act out the Santa Claus one a lot. And Handyman was very funny too.
I remember seeing this movie in the theatre. It came out the year after I graduated high school. Friend of mine and I saw this maybe 5 times. Too fucking funny.
This has got to be one of my favorite comedies. It’s been so long since I’ve seen it that I’ve actually forgotten how funny it was though.
He also did a movie called "Blankman" about the same time and funny as hell : )
Just graduated basic training and I kid you not major pain was my senior drill I will never forget his face!🤣
Just clicked the video and im super hyped. This is gonna be fun. Thanks for this upload guys. Love this movie as a kid btw
Love to see the hype!
Hearing the little engine that could makes me cry everytime
This is one of my favorite "guilty movies" I think it is hysterical.
This movie cracks me up everytime. Mo Money is funny.
One of my fav comedies all time.
This is one of the greatest movies of all time. Up there with Shawshank, Godfather’s, Exorcist…
I raised my kids on the little engine that could 🤣🤣🤣
They must be killing machines lol

Guys you are officially in the Hall of fame when it comes to YT reactions for movies ... 🤗🔥 No Cap.. The rest will come....
Facts,they original
The guy who plays Dwight is actually another member of the Wayans family. He stars in a pretty hilarious movie named Malibu's Most Wanted, you guys should Definitely check it out, trust me.
Love this movie watch it so many times that still quote it.
Fun fact the big guy with tattoos major payne fought was wwe\f and wcw wrestler bam bam Bigelow.
Down periscope is a hugely underrated comedy that needs to be seen.
Yes!
There's also "Up Periscope" as a parody of "Down Periscope".
I love this movie. my brother and I still randomly say 'while charlie getting stronga in the jungle.'
His obsession with and callbacks to "Charlie" are easily one of the funniest things about this movie 😂
theres no way its yalls “First Time” watching all these classic movies 😂😂😂
Blue Streak with Martin Lawrence or Goldenchild with Eddie Murphy.
Damon Wayans is my favorite of the Wayans clan!!! This is such an underrated hilariously classic film!!!
Ive loved this movie since I was a little kid and its only gotten funnier as I get older.
Game Night is a fairly recent comedy that had the whole theater roaring with laughter when I saw it. ,😂😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣🤣😍😍
I watched this at least 15 times as a teen. Such a great mixture of goofy and absurd and a touch of emotion.
One of the best comedy movies in my eyes lol great episode
21:46 I still remember while participating in a drill competition, another squadron tried it & missed the catch slicing his forearm.
I was thinking that it could easily be dangerous considering the speed; hopefully it wasn't too deep of a wound!
This movie is hilarious...Damon Wayans in one of his best ....
And I'm actually the first comment for once lol
Damon is my favorite wayans brother. I love this movie alot, it's comedy gold. Enjoyed the reaction octokrool
The boy who collapses in the fart scene was perfect. It kills me every single time.
This was directed by the original "Michael Myers" actor from "Halloween" Nick Castle
This is one of my guilt pleasures movies. I know it ain’t good, but if it’s on I’m going to watch it and laugh every time. “There’s got to be someone left needs killin’ “ 🤣
“You plottin’ on me?”
Favourite quote "Hello Betty!" 😂
One of my favorite childhood movies!
I was in the Marines, and even though this film is very much unrealistic, the dialogue from Major Payne is definitely the kind of stuff that actual Marine Drill Instructors come up with.
Immediately faved before I even watched it lmao love you guys and your reactions and your wild attitude ;-) it's an awesome movie so I already know this is gonna be great. Keep on doing the "most difficult job in the world" lol brings us a lot of joy and relief. Keep on my guys, thanks for the awesome content
Glad you guys did this one this is one of my all-time favorites
The stepdad was played by Michael Ironsides. He’s a fairly well known character actor who typically plays villains and hard asses. He was the main villain in Scanners, as well as in Highlander 2. He was sort of an antihero in the TV miniseries V: The Final Battle. As well as a bunch of other roles.
Four brothers
This movie scared me as a child. But it's ridiculous, surprisingly funny.
This was my favorite movie growing up! Thank you so much for reacting to it!
I would recommend watching "Fighting with my Family" if your interested in a modern comedy. Really funny and heartfelt. PS it also has "The Rock" in it.
YESSSSS!!!!!! 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🫶🏾🫶🏾🫶🏾 love this movie! A classic from my childhood! So glad you guys are doing this
I’m probably going to age myself here but I was entering my first year of high school when this came out but I thought that this was the funniest movie at the time when it came out I loved anything with the Wayans brothers name attached. Love the reactions keep it up. Erin from Florida!!!!
Yessss MY FAVORITE I’m so happy you all are doing this one💕
Love this movie it's a family movie regular in my house. One of my favorite lines was when he told stone he would be o. Him like white on rice One paper plate in a snowstorm, illput my foot so deep in your butt the water from my knee will quench your thirst. Hilarious. I love his character arch how he became so protective of the kids. My second favorite scene was him shooting the closest, if he's still in there he ain't happy.
This is one of my favorite movies. I've been watching it for 30 years.
One of the funniest movies ever made! I've seen this numerous times, but I still laugh just as hard each time. Damon Wayans created a truly unique, memorable character in Major Payne. Great story line, funny, touching and very entertaining.
I really like the commentary and the way you guys broke the movie down. Great job!
My cousin and I still say the little engine that could story from the movie. It's the little bloody nubbs that makes us laugh. Lol
"You ladies are without a doubt the prettiest unit I have ever had under my command. Maybe I ought to change my name to Pimp Daddy Payne." That line makes me laugh every single time.
3:42 actually Pain was aiming for the balls, Pain even vaguely motioned to the guy that he wont be having the ability to reproduce if he shoots
Lol wow! So awesome y'all are reviewing this, such a great classic!
my favorite part is when he shoots the boy's closet and says "if he's still in there, he ain't happy". such a good line
This movie is so damn funny man. The jokes are actually super adult for a kids movie and it's hilarious. The scene where he's losing his mind in the room at the beginning is way funnier if you've seen Apocalypse Now.
I had this movie on vhs. I would take it to my neighbors house (they would watch me after school) almost every and watch it.
Fun fact, Orlando Brown, who played Tiger would later work again with Damon Wayans in the short-lived cartoon Waynehead voicing the character. The characters likeness is actually based on Damon Wayans who also created the show
WHoever came up with Payne's lines was great lmao
The 6 year old is Orlando Brown from That's So Raven, the one, D who he tells is not his brother is actually his brother in real life. Damian Dante Wayans. The mom is hilary from the fresh prince
Damian Dante Wayans is his nephew
So glad y’all reacted to this movie 😁I knew y’all would get a lot of laughs. Please react to Eve’s Bayou and Antwone Fisher,I really think you’ll like them.
Major Payne is The Hardest and The Toughest Guy I have ever known. The Addams Family would love Major Payne!
Stone's dad, if you haven't placed him yet....
He was the teacher, later platoon leader in Starship Troopers
Was also in Robocop if I remember correctly
That is it! I knew we saw him recently, it was bothering me so much lol
