Information regarding the door:
1. My door is the - Glazed Seville Door.
2. The U Value of a Glazed Door is .98 (probably the only door in the UK that would be A rated throughout the full range).
3. The Heritage Slam Lock is a GU lock which is an automatic 5 point locking system which is operated as soon as the door closes and you need a key to get in once the door is closed.
4. The door is Anthracite Grey in colour with Ral number 7016.
5. The handle that I have is a stylish 1200mm offset handle.
6. The glass used is TG501 Patinated glass: This is a Sandblasted glass.
7. The Palladio Door Collection is the most secure composite door in the Irish and the UK markets today and they are so confident of their doors that they offer a 12-year manufacturing guarantee on them, alongside a 5-year anti-corrosion warranty on stainless steel door furniture, possibly like anyone else.

Your front door and the glass looks beautiful. The tree border looks good. Look into yacht vanish for wood outside it should last a long time we been told to put it on our bench. 👍🥰

hi Alexs266 from Dublin myself living in wexford. we went with the palladio door as well a very pale olive green I love it. my last door locked when u closed It but I got a normal handle u do have to use the key to lock on the outside the old door would blow close then we b locked out.
if u use a small paint roller it b quicker than the brush.
I would give everything another coat of paint .
when finished it will look lovely.
Once u keeping watering plants and grass during spring summer and just feed any plants / flowers Once a week , for the best part it will look after itself and mulch will keep most of the weeds at bay.
if u get a door / window company in to paint them there the professional at using pvc paint. They do say pvc windows and doors after so many years will need to b painted again , they are painted whatever colour u choose before they go in. I love it.
This vlog was definitely a bit of me. The swing and the lights just magical. The front door is lovely and the laurels will grow quite quickly and they make the front look so much better. Your home has really got your stamp put on it now so much.The hall way is stunning. Well done my love. As for the ice maker, making ice in 13 minutes that’s crazy. Xx

We've got those tiles on the front of our house and we were thinking of replacing them, our neighbour over the road had theirs painted black cuz they have a black front door, so think we're going to paint ours dark grey. Not sure what paint we'll need so we're going to look into that xx

Nice transformation, but a suggestion use a roller for the fence and maybe a brush to do the edging it's quicker

Beautiful door! I'm surprised you've kept any clear glass though, I'd be worrying about someone catching me not dressed or a burglar sneaking a peak inside. Probably just my anxious mind though! EDIT just heard you say it's privacy glass, that's good! Do check it doesn't reverse at night when the lights are on and it's dark, some do weirdly!

We have Laurel hedging , just keep an eye on it because it grows really high and quiet thick,,,,I cut some of the branches off and put it in with a vase of flowers..

Door is beautiful!! I have saw other houses planting that hedging and protecting it on the outside with a mesh type material until they have grown and are well established.
Just an idea to stop the lights behind the bench tangling together - if you hammer a small nail right at the bottom of the fence for each strip of light and loosely wrap just the bottom of the light to it, it will stop it from swaying 🥰

Love this video, door is absolutely stunning, makes the house look so different, maybe jet wash the front drive, that will look so different again, and paint your gate and left fence panel dark grey to match your front door.
