Hi guy! I can't make the software UGS to move the Z axi with a servo motor. I think maby the problem are the firmware on the arduino nano. I have use the GRBL of GITHUB site, but is not working!.. I don't know more to do! Do you can to help-me in this problem, please?
Hi, what version of GRBL did you use? There's a modded version you'll need to make the servo Z axis work, see my long explainer video about it: (ua-cam.com/video/f6xCfzfiD6Q/v-deo.html) There were also two erroneous slashes that needed deleting from the code to make it work, though it has been a while ago so I forgot some of the details..
OH. MY. GOD. This video was an INSANE amount of work!! Like I mentioned in a recent community post I recently switched to a completely different editing software which meant I had to learn it from scratch again basically; making the editing step take at least 3 times as long as it should have... But on the bright side, look at those much more advanced animations! Also, color grading took me a FULL DAY and a HALF - one of these things you don't even notice in the finished product, except if it's left out the video looks trashy... What do you guys think about the volume level compared to other YT content?
02:55 When I try to make twin objects. I first drill two holes after putting them on top of each other and then insert a pin to keep them in place. Then, I do my cutting and drilling the real holes.
Yes, that would be the correct way of doing it, but on these parts it would've been a bit overkill, especially since there would barely have been room for another set of holes
When it's late at night and it finally works... I try to always show the failures and the solutions I come up with as well to make it more realistic :)
Why next month? Because EVERY friggin' video takes AT LEAST TWO WEEKS off full time work to produce! Sorry kiddo, high production value comes at a cost... 😕🙁
Yup, wouldn't have taken much longer if I hadn't had to make a detailed video about every step. Seriously, making a video about anything suddenly makes it take ten times longer.
@@grizzlyybear Easier for sure - but then I get back to the age old problem of integrating the aluminum with the wood, like I extensively talked about in the 3dp series... Plus buying stuff if it can reasonably be done without is kinda against my channel ethic 😂 This setup cost exactly $0.00 so far!

please.
hello, your machine is very good. But you took way too much time to make it. it should be completed like in a week or like 2 weeks max.
Yup, wouldn't have taken much longer if I hadn't had to make a detailed video about every step. Seriously, making a video about anything suddenly makes it take ten times longer.
@@ChronicMechatronic dont you think just buying 2 v-al slots will reduce work. Coz i did the same and it was very cheap
i made it in under 20 bucks. dontknow how much this setup is gonna cost

@@ChronicMechatronic wow…🙊
You take too much risks holding those parts with bare hands near to saws of all kinds of drills. You've been warned.
