Whoa- awesome, Kid! Didn't know you had anything this huge there. Here in LA, they nixed our Carnaval in West Hollywood (WeHo) again. Not on the scale of NYC's event but pretty big and plenty freaky. Cheers From Old Canoga Park!

And you really should get into the WeHo Carnaval here if you get the opportunity- 500K people worth of craziness! However, this was the 3rd year in a row it was cancelled due to Covid and security concerns.
Do you need a press pass to photograph or film in the street?
I think if you're not behind the barricades, you need Some sort of permission, but I don't think I've ever seen any of them with a press pass showing. In the crowd though, 100s of people are filming & taking pics & some have selfie sticks out into the route

That was a really neat costume!
I watched so many videos of this event and it looked so amazing, and so much fun. However….the people dressed up for politics, and lowkey spreading hate and negativity because they’re choosing to support people who are hateful……not okay. The Halloween parade is a fun event, it’s not about politics nor should it be. There’s no reason to spoil, and ruin everyone else’s fun….just because you wanna be annoying, and try to spread negativity and hate around to others.
How embarrassing, the world really is in a mess.😭
