I got 3 brand new genuine balti bowls from Islamic Relief shop in Sparkbrook for £2 each!

Adils was the first place I had a balti years ago. Absolutely beautiful.

Best balti is actually served in Telford - Bengal Spices (Formerly known as Mr. Daves).
I tried many baltis in Birmingham and couldnt find any that gets even closer, Includding Adil's (with all due respect to him being a pioneer)

Good video, but the recipe at the end doesn't produce good results, so not the best way of selling the Birmingham Balti brand!

Great video and will visit Birmingham to try the balti. Just one thing, the recipe at the end missed out some essential ingredients such as tomato purée and garabi (curry base sauce made from onions)

No tomato puree as it's fresh ingredients.

What are everybody’s favourite balti houses in the West Midlands?

balti dishes for cooking are more oftern cast iron and not steel. The recipe looks concerning though tbh, no base gravy?! Also nothing to give the "zingy" flavour that I associate with Balti, lemon, lime Tamarind....
